The moment we stepped onto the property, we were transported to another Tulum, a wilder and more jungle-y Tulum and the name, the name. House of the Waves: the roar of the ocean rolls over you, wraps around you, stalks you everywhere you go. This is actually our second trip to Casa de las Olas. The first time, a hurricane... More

I spent a fair amount of time looking at places to stay in Tulum before booking here. My husband and I had spent a few days up in Playa del Carmen staying near the Protec dive shop there, in perfectly fine but basic accommodations. I wanted a little more luxury for the second half of our trip and Protec also... More

Casa de las Olas is a little bit of heaven tucked away at the far end of the beach road in Tulum. Easy to miss but hard to forget their location is private and due to it's small size, 10 people when were there, you feel like you have the beach to yourself. The owners and staff are helpful, and... Casa de las Olas is a unique property where you're treated like family. The property itself is beautiful (check the website) but it's the service and attention to detail that set this B&B apart. Sam and Jimmy will help you decide what to do for the day and then hand-draw maps for you to make sure you get where you're... More

Most beautiful setting. Incredible hospitality. Genuine, kind people, like minded people. We looked forward to having breakfast at the communal table every morning. Chef Lulu's meals were so delicious. I still can't stop thinking about them! Thank you Sam, Jimmy, Lulu and the entire team.

The location is perfect as it sits at the end of the road so it quiet and peaceful and the beach is gorgeous and feels private as well. The hospitality leaves you feeling like you are more of a friend than a guest. I would highly recommend this place for couples or groups of friends. Enjoy!
