If you are seeking a tricked out five star resort, keep looking. However, if you are searching for a small, communal respite full of familiar, friendly places, this is it. Our room was adequate - nothing too elegant but we had a wonderful view of the ocean. There was no AC and water pressure was sub-par, but this is not... More

tfailor, Thank you for a very honest and humble review. It is extremely important that our potential guests understand some of the trade-offs of being the only 100% sustainable property as well as how we offset some of these worthwhile shortcomings. Our immaculate grounds, home-styled breakfasted and personalized guest hosting is essential in providing our eco-aware travelers with a memorable... More

My wife and I ended up at Casa de las Olas on the recommendation of a friend as well as reviews online and feel like we lucked out, having found an amazing property with a very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is an exceptional place to stay if you want to get away from the fast paced life that many of us live in our everyday lives. Just got back from our 4th stay at Casa de las Olas. Every time we enter the driveway, it feels like we've come back to our home away from home. Perfect location on the beach; beautiful grounds, fantastic folks who run the place (Chris is new, and he's great!), comfortable rooms with fantastic views, interesting fellow guests. Thanks again to... More

We had the best stay at Casa de las Olas. This place is truly paradise, we stayed for 5 nights and could have easily spent more time. We liked that it didn't have many guests staying, gave it a really pleasant community vibe and all the guests were fantastic! The location was awesome, felt so private and nice to have... More
