Stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend as a bit of a break from the hostels, and it was a great choice. We only had the small room but it was fine - enough space to feel comfortable and there's always the beautiful garden if you need more room to hangout. Maura was really friendly and helpful, and gave...

The hostel is really close to the city center. We loved the atmosphare, the silence and the room. The staff and Joshua (the owner) were really friendly and helpful. We were actually only wanted to there for one night, but we felt so much in love with that place that we stayed for three nights. What else to say? Perfect...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Secret Garden - the staff were really helpful, the location was great (in town just a short walk from the bus station and the main restaurant strip) and the place itself is really lovely - the courtyard garden is very nice indeed! Thoroughly recommended.

we stayed in this hotel in the end of a yucatan-roundtrip, and this was definetly an good decision. it's located just 2 or 3 blocks away from the ado-busstation so you're able to reach the city in a few minutes. if you want to go to the beach, you have to take a cab or take one of the shuttle-buses....

I spent 3 weeks at the Secret Garden Hotel and Joshua and his staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Particularly for a longer stay like mine, the town of Tulum is a perfect base because you have all amenities close at hand and the beach is only 5 minutes away. The hotel itself is right...

We just happened to stumble on the Secret Garden hotel while looking for a place to stay for one night before our onward journey to Cancun from Belize. The Secret Garden Hotel looked inviting from the minute we walked onto the hotel garden grounds. The receptionist showed us a room that had a bed with ceiling fan and A/C unit....

We have booked this hotel because of all the good reviews. And it was all true! We had a very pleasant stay! Joshua and Maura were so friendly and gave us a lot of information. We had a very nice bungalow with a lot of attention on the details. The garden is a romantic place to spend the evening! Secret...

I read all the great reviews on Tripadvisor and reserved the first three nights of our 6 night trip here. From our first communication, Joshua and Maura were very warm and accommodating. We ended up getting there an entire day late because of a canceled connecting flight, and Joshua was so kind to just shift our reservation without any charge...

The Secret Garden was recommended to us by friends and it was certainly the best choice we could of made. Located in a very quiet spot a block back from the strip, access to all the restaurants and amenities was easy. Joshua and Maura were very accommodating and informative helping with information on activities, restaurants, beaches and car rentals. The...
