A Must

The resort is gorgeous. The staff takes excellent care of you. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We stayed in the Terra Suite. The beach furniture is beautiful and comfortable. I would highly recommend this resort It is a paradise

Best place ever.

Best place ever. Romantic and super relaxing. And the best/most helpful/kind staff ever!! Food and drinks are super good as well! Rooms are very nice and the beach is great! Lots of places to sit on the beach or by the pools. Definitely highly recommend Be Tulum if you are heading here!

Soooo disappointing - do not trust the hotel's website

rooms are very dark and finishes are terrible, furniture is tired and stained. there is a big issue of massive volumes of red algae washing out on the beach. staff will try to get you the worst room available even if they have something nicer for the same price /in the category you requested

Good but not great

The property is beautiful and the rooms are very nice. The spa was also great and convenient. The problems were mostly with the service. We couldn’t get the concierge to help us finding restaurants and they really messed up arranging our transportation to the airport. The whole area has a big seaweed problem so going to the beach is not amazing. We had a great roof deck pool but it had no real lounge chairs to lay in so it was not relaxing to sit there for long. We asked for better lounging options but they just brought us regular chairs.

Excellent stay for 5 nights!

We stayed 5 nights Feb 3-8th and it was wonderful for our first time in Tulum. Our concierge was excellent! He helped us with our excursions, dining and even arranged, a birthday surprised for my boyfriend in the room with champagne, rose petals and cake! We could communicate with him anytime on What's up if we had problems, concerns or questions. He was so attentive and accommodating. The Arena rooms were nice, a little musty but we burned the incense which I loved, and it smelled lovely after that. The plunge pool was too cold this time of year for me. The bed was huge! I thought it was comfortable. My boyfriend thought it was ok. The beach bar had excellent food and drinks. Reuban at the beach club will take care of you so good, along with everyone else that works there. Everyone on the beach was very attentive. The beach beds are nice and comfortable. The tractor took care of the sea grass that arrived early for February. Yaan healing Sanctuary was heaven. We had the best massages there. We both had deep tissue massages together and they were heaven. I highly recommend booking a massage or treatment there. Walking distance there are many great restaurants like Loco or you can use their bikes which are in very nice condition and bike to places also. We had a car, and it was easy to access our car. Every day the hotel was cleaned and then cleaned again plus turned down for the night by housekeeping which was a nice touch. The housekeeping kept you stocked up with water which was very nice too. Breakfast is included and each day it was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again when I come back to Tulum.…

a Dream

Don't even look at other reviews. I don't understand what type of people they are to leave such nasty reviews about paradise. Please, if you have the means to, book a room. It doesn't even have to be the one with the private pool (although amazing), the complex and service is unmatched. Complimentary breakfast with fresh coffee, grapefruit, plate of fruit (per person!) and a main course sets the mood for the day. It's towards the non busy part of the zone, which we wanted and loved very much. Forget about everything, don't worry about anything, and enjoy your time here. It's truly remarkable.

Zero service and effort to make the stay pleasant. Great hotel but needs more attention from the management

I reserved a room for a Valentine’s Day just to spend here a few hours, and specifically asked when booking that that is a gift and please if anything romantic could be added. However room was plain when we arrived with AC not turned on and no touches added. I saw that other hotels had roses, champagne, candies, something like that to the rooms. The hotel where we stay in Tulum brought is chocolate in the shape of hearts complimentary yesterday. But here at betulum was zero effort despite expressing my request when booking. Disappointed paying $1600 for this. Rooms and vibe is still good, but Hotel felt empty, no crowd at the bar like it’s used to be, and no attention to the guest experience.

Wonderful experience !!!

My sister and I just got back from a trip to Tulum and we stayed at Be Tulum. What a magnificent hotel. From the moment we arrived our concierge Cesar Sando was so very welcoming. Throughout our stay, he catered to our every need and was always there at a moments notice. The hotel is breathtaking and the views are as well. If you are looking to stay at a hotel with amazing service, kind and friendly staff, delicious food and gorgeous beach, look no further than BeTulum. It is worth every penny we spent on this vacation. We can’t wait to go back. Ask for Cesar !!! He’s amazing .

Best Place in Tulum to stay

This hotel is the best place to stay in Tulum. I stayed at another place for the same money, and the experience was much worse. The area of the hotel is some kind of magical place, you will just take a walk there non-stop. I like the beach club area and the restaurant zone, there are a lot of trees. The service is great, all the staff was kind. I liked the performances they had each day, and there were unique people invited, whether DJs, dancers, or musicians. The room was clean and spacious. I love that it was dark, and the jungle view is tremendous! FYI, the taxi knows the price of the stay and its better to catch taxi in a fex minutes walk from hotel so they don't give you unreasonable price for the ride. We took a ride from hotel like 5-7 minutes and were billed $40 for this. …

From the minute we arrived, we realized we chose a town and hotel that would meet our needs. We needed to recharge, relax, feel free, be pampered, eat delicious food, walk to restaurants and bars, feel like the day could take us anywhere. It met all those needs. The staff is attentive and friendly. The room was cleaned twice/day. The beech was cleaned daily unlike most other hotels. My wife and I walked long distances and commented on the positive difference between our place and the others. We stayed in Aire suite with a rooftop pool, nice for end of day dip. Spa was also terrific, we went 3 times. Definitely making this an annual get away.
