Our hosts recommended that we spent the day there. We got there at around 10:30 and we managed to have a spot on a bed. It was super comfortable. We were there all day, had beers and ordered food. It was very delicious! Highly recommended. The only negative comment I will leave it that the service was really slow.

We expected this to be a romantic evening with exceptional Food given the recommendation. It was a shocker. The food was microwaved and frozen which could have been alright if it had not tasted of ammonia. When we raised this to the staff we were offered no apology but a free drink.... avoid.

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Las Estrellas. A cozy, quite small boutique hotel and from what we have experienced it was the best for us. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Most of our stay we even had the hotel for us alone and it was 3-4 staff just for us. All waiters etc were...

I spent 4 nights at this hotel and it was good. The hotel is clean, a bit dated, great location/beach area. The breakfast good/adequate, the staff very friendly. My only complaint of this place is that it wasn't Mexican enough - not enough Mexican drink / food options. The music was horrible - felt like I didn't leave NY, nothing...

The first impression of the hotel was not “the best”. We came a bit late – round midnight – but I informed about it the reception quite long ahead before we came as we knew our flight arrival was late evening. The manager informed us by mail that the reception would be closed, but there would be a security guy...

We have stayed here twice, both a year apart. The hotel is in a great location. Its is a good basic beach stay but a little overpriced given the amount of competing hotels in the area. Staff are nice but hands off.

We stayed over the x-mas holiday and we took over 6 rooms (3 suites and 3 regular rooms) over a 10 day period. There were only 9 rooms in the whole hotel! Most of our party got sick. I don't blame the hotel, most of the town was sick. There were so many things that were disappointing but I'll narrow...

If you are looking for great rooms with view and pristine beaches... This is the right hotel. The service is attentive and very friendly. Top floors have nicer view but ground floors have easier access to the beach. The food was also excellent. Loved breakfast every morning. I would definitely recommend it!

Villa Las Estrellas is priced like a 5 star boutique hotel but the rooms are shabby with rusty ventilators, the furniture is not tasteful like in a real boutique hotel. the suites on the beach are actually one bedroom with 3 beds and no suite space... While the staff is very friendly and helpful, it is odd that the Italian...

I was traveling alone in Tulum, not staying in the hotel zone, and happened upon this hotel semi-accidentally. The staff was all so friendly and welcoming. I typically had lunch and then sat in comfortable beach chairs. The ceviche or the tuna tar tar made a lovely light lunch. Drinks were delicious and there was an adorable golden retriever meandering...
