If you come to the Rivera Maya to party and experience the regurgitation of an all-American party town- do not even leave Cancun. However, if you want to witness and experience the true essence of the people of my country and the hospitality that is offered. If you would like to witness pristine beaches in their virgin beauty untainted by... More

My boyfriend and I had a great time at My Tulum Cabanas. This is a really special place and Yelli and her staff make you feel right at home. The value is unbelievable and our room was quite large- very comfortable for two people. There is a pathway to the beach right from the property and the beach is fantastic.... More

We stayed during super-peak season over the new year and really enjoyed the simple accommodation. Yelitza was amazingly friendly and it was great to walk steps to the beach. Although we had pre-paid our room, the previous guest wanted to stay on an extra day, so Yelitza arranged for us to stay in the (lesser quality) adjoining bungalows nearer to... More

We could only stay one night here but wish we could stay more. The owner is super friendly and her cats are even friendlier! We stayed on the 2nd story room which was a bit above the bathrooms so a bit of funk would wander up, but nothing terrible. Cabana style rooms with thatch and a bit of breeze, but... More

Stayed at My Tulum Cabanas for 5 nights leading up to the 2012 solstice. We watched the sunrise there on 12-21-12. The world didn't end... and sadly we had to go back to work. It's a small, simple place - but very nice, comfy, clean and welcoming. We found the bed/bathroom/electricity/restaurant/staff/service to be great for the price. Indeed, we've paid... More

We spent 11 days in Riviera Maya, first starting off at My Tulum, but we didn't want leave. My boyfriend and I enjoyed it so much, we stayed an extra night. First off, I don't think it's possible not to have a fab time in Tulum in mid December. We arrived on 12/14 so we were ahead of the holiday... More

We stayed at My Tulum for one week. It was truly a home away from home. As past reviews have said, the owner Yeli, went out f her way to make sure our stay was nothing short of stellar. She even organized a trip to a local cenote for my birthday and got cake & candles! Her hospitality and responsiveness... More

Just returned from a week at My Tulum Cabanas. If you want a relaxing escape this is ideal. The accommodation is basic as you would expect, but Yeli and her colleagues could not be more helpful. The location is excellent so that if you want to eat out, you have an abundance of authentic bars and restaurants on your doorstep.... More

The goods: near the beach, nice service, daily cleaning, equipped with towels, mosquito net for the bed, and bathroom bio-essentials. Free WIFI and near to places where to have good meals. Cheap :) The not so good: not easy to find, the Mosquitos are evil, rooms are very basic, beds not super comfortable; water and electricity are not stable, the... More

The location is great, and the price is good, but even though the beds are big, the matrasses are horrible. We spent two nights and every night I did sleep only off and on and woke up with back pains. We were four (two adults and two kids) and there was only one musquito net. We hung it over the... More
