This was the best hostel experience I have ever had. The location is convenient to the main road and ADO station and a short bike ride to the beach. The beds were comfy, the dorms clean, there's free delicious breakfast, and Activities every night. Jose, Dan and Arsene are amazing people/hosts and it made all the difference! If you want... More

The place looks amazing and has a really nice, easy going vibe but is great for social travellers nonetheless due to the cool patio area where everybody hangs out at evenings. Pros include great staff, cooperation with a great (small) diving company named Easy Chango and awesome breakfast (if you like french toast draped in chocolate sauce and some fruit,... More

Stayed for a week with my girlfriend in a private room. Facilities are all up to scratch, good kitchen, wifi, common areas. Bathrooms are a little dated but clean enough and have consistent hot water. Hostel policy is also conscious of guests comfort when sleeping with a clear 11pm noise cut off. The staff, atmosphere & world famous breakfasts are... More

Best breakfast in the whole of Mexico (and I've had 5 weeks worth of breakfasts)! Exceptional service, friendly people, helpful local tips & recommendations and wonderful ambience. There's a daily group activity you can participate in (if you want to) which helps break the ice and meet others (handy if you're a solo traveller craving company). Activities range from cocktail... One of the best hostels I stayed in over 11 weeks of travelling in Central America. The staff are the friendliest I have experienced, they were so welcoming and helpful. The hostel puts on nightly activities with cheap drinks and food and the staff are great at getting everyone involved (not cliquey at all, unlike lots of other hostels) We... More

We enquired at Mamas to see if we could get a private for 2 nights however they were fully booked. So instead we booked a dorm bed for the following 2 nights. When we arrived the next day we were upgraded free of charge to a private room for the 1st night of our stay by Jose. We were quite... More

We stayed for 3 nights in mid October. Staff were very welcoming and great knowledge of local area/ bike hires/ places to eat and drink. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm at the back of property- very basic but individual lockers. The room has aircon, but for our first night this did work and was dripping onto the bed directly... More
