So, I love this place. The food and the rooms and the AC are amazing. The people who manage it are incredibly accommodating and friendly. Jose is great--he will give you some great recommendations for food and bars and day trips etc. The one complaint I have about Jose is that I was having a bad situation with a taxi...

Could not have picked a better place to stay in Tulum. Very centrally located, laundromat and plenty of little markets nearby and a few blocks to the main road where restaurants, shopping and tours were all available. We had a car, but would have survived without one. Jose and his staff are helpful and happy and every morning we were...

This is a hostel so offers group sleeping rooms but also offers more private one and two bed private rooms with shower and AC. Great breakfasts are provided each morning along with coffee & tea. The main host is Jose who is very helpful and welcoming along with his other assistants. Rosie is the "Mama" and does the delicious breakfasts...

Only got to stay here for one night but seems like a quaint hostel. We were greeted by the lovely host who showed us around. The hostel organises to have food brought in from a local restaurant at 8pm which everyone eats together, often with entertainment. The minus point at the hostel is that it is strictly lights out for...

You can't look past this place if you're staying in Tulum. I had planned to stay 3 nights and ended up here for 8. Jose is running such an amazing hostel, he is always running around making sure your stay is as good as he can make it. Which is amazing. Along with John and Rachel and the other staff,...

Such a great hostel. Colourful, friendly and the best breakfasts. Jose is a great host, really helpful. Rooms are basic but just what you need and have air con. I don't think I can fault this place at all!

When you book a bed in THE hostel, which awarded not just for the best Mexican, but the best North American hostel for 2 years in a row, and you read the glossy reviews, obviously you have some expectations. But you would not expect, that this place will be a huge disappointment, and you will have to face many many...

Everyone I met at Mama's home, including the staff, was wonderful. Really chill place to hangout, the food–it was my girlfriends favorite out of the whole trip. Great little hostel, good value for the price.
