Some girlfriends and I recently stayed at Amansala as guests of the hotel- not as part of Bikini Bootcamp or a private retreat. As the hotel purports to be an eco chic resort, this kind of arrangement should not be uncommon....or so you would think. We were lost to say the least, and but for the help of Justine at...

I lead a yoga retreat here in October 2015 and brought 15 participants along. The staff and owner were lovely to work work and very helpful. The rooms and common spaces were exactly as pictured. The food was delicious, fresh and healthy too. Transportation from the airport handled by Amansala was seamless and helpful. The only downside to the resort...

In love with Tulum, but without ever having been to Amansala, my wife and I decided to host our wedding there this past August. We knew that we wanted a unique beach wedding, and after we initially booked the venue we found it to be difficult to properly communicate with the resort about our hopes and wishes for our dream...

I visited this resort on a yoga retreat back in May this year. My review is mostly going to be on the resort itself, since the yoga-doing was handled by a local studio from where I'm from. I had the most amazing time and it's all thanks to both Citizen Yoga and Amansala! First of all, this is not a...

This review is long overdue, but sincere all the more. Visited Amansala for a yoga retreat held by Yoga Flow from the Pittsburgh area in late April. From the moment we were greeted by Kelly, who coordinated the retreat withYoga Flow, until the time we boarded the transport to the airport on the last day, the experience was nothing but...

Our local yoga studio put together a trip for us. There were about 14 from our town. The staff at Amansala was very accommodating. They were concerned for our comfort and made wise suggestions. I upgraded to a beach-front room when I arrived. Best money I ever spent. Waking up to a view of the ocean's horizon was amazing! Wouldn't...

Jaw dropping service and accommodations. From start to finish the staff, food, spa, excursions, and service was perfect. Totally enjoyed my stay and I did not want to come home. I'm looking at coming back before summer ends.

Amansala is a fantastic place to spend a relaxing vacation!! We were a group of three girls and shared a 3 bed room which was perfect for us. This is a beautiful but very basic Eco chic hotel so if you are looking for something plush I would not recommend Amansala but if you are looking for amazing scenery, great...

I stayed at Amansala for a yoga retreat and decided to spend my extra night here too. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the swinging beds on the beach are heaven. It's a small style resort so it never feels crowded. I visited other places on the strip and I feel that Tulum had a great...

The location is beautiful, its Tulum, hard to go wrong. You can't really swim at Amansala though because of the seaweed and the reef so if ocean swimming is important to you, you might pick a place down the beach with better access. The facilities are fine. Super eco-chic rustic so if you're wanting A/C and all the amenities, this...

First of all I am so sorry you had such disdain for the front desk staff and the people that run the show at Amansala. We are sort of like a family down here and have all been working together for a long time so sometimes there may be too much shop talk in front of guests but we like...
