we have stayed in several lovely hotels on Tulum Beach but unfortunately this is not one of them. The unique niceties you experience at most hotels on the beach is missing here.

You can walk down the beach north and there are 6 to 8 beach bars within a mile, the best is La Eufemia Taqueria, if you walk north on the road side, there are several resturaunts for a couple miles. A bicycle is the best transportation, and taxis are everywhere for about $3 to $5 U.S.
