We had a wonderful stay at Zamas, beach front cabanas are highly recommended - you are just a few steps from the sea. Rooms are clean, spacious and very nice designed. Food in the restaurant is delicious, and there are plenty other options to eat in the walking distance. The stuff is super professional and friendly.

I cannot rave enough about this place. Zamas was one of the best places I've ever stayed at. Truly incredible! First of all, the location is wonderful. It's right on the beach, and while many places are, it's fairly centrally located on the "hotel strip" so that you're not far from Tulum town/Mayan ruins, nor are you super far from...

This review is LONG overdue but I had to leave it as I've been dreaming about it :) We stayed at Casa Vallejo, a zamas villa, a few summers back with a group of friends. We STILL talk about how amazing it was. The place easily slept 8 friends for a great price. It was amazing because it comes with...

Rave review for Zamas! We stayed in a jungle side room for four nights and I didn't want to leave! The room was absolutely huge and so was the bathroom and it was all super clean. We had a private deck outfitted with hammocks and a table and chairs. Oh did I mention breathtaking ocean views? Honestly the best thing...

This was one of the warmest and kindest places that we found in Tulum. They were so gracious to us and accommodating beyond expectation. We stayed in 2 units, our first one had some construction from the property behind us and they were super gracious to move us immediately until the construction subsided. I am a traveling entertainer and stay...

Stayed here for one night as my favorite hotel in Tulum was completely sold out for that night. (I did eventually moved to my chosen hotel for the rest of my stay) I initially booked this hotel for it proximity to one of my favorite eateries in Tulum (Mateo's) which is located across the street. With that said I was...

This is a really nice spot on the ocean, it has a nice breeze, a nice view and the food is delicious. It can be a little pricey but remember you are in Tulum and on the beach. Most of the tables are in the sand so you can kick off your shoes, dig your toes into the sand, sip...

Cute spot in the heart of Tulum's resort area. A friend and I stayed in a beach facing jungle garden bungalow. Lovely, small resort. This is what I would call a "natural" resort. A few things that I will mention. The shower is open-- no door, no bend so if you are traveling with friends and not a lover, keep...

We stayed 9 days and loved it. The room was beautiful. The restaurant perfect. The staff, outstanding. We stayed in a large garden side room, upper level, with wrap-around porch, hammocks, and view of the beach. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Really friendly. I cannot help but repeat how nice they were. Food was excellent. We...

Hola! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We love that you really "got" ZAMAS- a unique boutique experience for our guests centering on customer care. I especially appreciate the insightful description of the beach- that it's lovely to look at and swim in and sit on, though you might like to walk further south to some...

My sister and I were booked for a week's vacation in Tulum but missed our connecting flight from Toronto. It was to be a healing holiday for both of us but soon turned very stressful. Upon arriving at Zamas a day late we were welcomed by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make us feel at...
