My husband and I just returned from a few wonderful days at Los Lirios Hotel Cabanas, and we loved it!. On our first visit to Tulum, we stayed at Copal, and were very unhappy with our choice. Expensive, no electricity, cave like dangerous bathrooms - alot of drawbacks. I was much more careful in booking our second trip, and Los...

Los Lirios sits on miles of white sand beach, and we attest to the fact that they maintain their frontage better than any of the others hotels or cabanas. Like the rest of the earth, gorgeous Tulum beach is afflicted with plastic mixed in with the sea weed, and even some glass now, but Los Lirios keeps the sand clean...

I had a pleasant stay in Jan 2011.I was dreading being there after alot of bad reviews but found very little to be critical about. The included breakfast was very good but did not try dinner as it was a bit pricey. There are many places in the beach area to eat and that have music of some kind!I found the service...

It doesn't get much better than this for a beach trip. The Cabanas Los Lirios is well maintained property right on the beach at Tulum. There seems to be 3-4 rooms per cabana on 1st or 2nd floors. The interior is spacious and airy with 2 double beds that are firm but comfortable. The bathroom is big with large shower/tub....

My grown daughters and I stayed for 4 days. The staff were very helpful on all sorts of things, including setting up tours. They were friendly & helpful.Only a few spoke English though (I speak Spanish, but it could be a problem for nonSpanish speakers) The food was good, and drinks were tasty. The rooms were spacious and clean, but...

We attended a friend's wedding so we decided to stay for a few additional nights in the area, we are glad that we read these advices, and is the main reason that I decided to write my own. Upon arrival our room was not ready, although we were told that by 3 p.m. everything should be up and running because...

Reservation made through Expedia & upgraded to oceanfront suite. Upon arrival, cabana was oceanfront, but not a suite. Expedia would not honor the upgrade, however the hotel did. Excellent service at this hotel. Very accomodating staff. Nice buffet breakfast. No crowds or noise.Safe.

My only objection is that apparently in this part of the mayan rivera the ocean is rough with strong undertow. Some days I didn't even venture in and was deeply disappointed that I couldn't swim or snorkel. However the grounds are beautiful, lush and seemed to be constantly maintained. They provided shady cool breezes and some nights I didn't even...

I've been back for a week and wish I was still in Mexico! Cabanas Los Lirios is simple. I loved the sand pathways. No sidewalks here! Everything is very casual and relaxed. Our booking included breakfast and dinner. We were not disappointed. I think there are maybe 32 rooms. As far as I could tell 13 or 14 were occupied....

My fiance and I planned our wedding in Tulum because we love the beach. We took 2 trips down to Tulum to scout out various hotels for our 130 wedding guests. We decided to recommend Los Lirios as one hotel option because it was simple, but clean, with air conditioning and beautiful ocean views. While the room prices at Los...
