This small hotel is set in an Eden of plants, with a large pool, thatched roofed breakfast room and lounge (also dinner). The owners are personable and unobtrusive, the staff friendly and accommodating. Individual buildings each house several guest rooms, some with outdoor patios, others with hammocks in sitting areas that are part of the bedrooms. Privacy abounds.

This is an oasis in the dingy town of Tulum. Clean, well appointed rooms, friendly staff who are all so helpful. Spanish, French and English are spoken here and many European guests. A full breakfast is included and it was worth waking up for! I am a coffee lover who is often disappointed by the coffee served at most resort...

Positives: Pleasant boutique hotel in Tulum. Front desk staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Setting is lovely. Rooms reasonably comfortable -- on our second storey room, we had a king-sized bed, an enclosed balcony with a hammock, and a solid air conditioning unit. Breakfast is included in your stay; we were very pleased with what was offered. We...

Hotel is well maintained and well appointed but pricey for a place off the beaten path. Pool is nice, bees an interesting hook and the breakfast more than adequate. Staff and owner very friendly and accommodating.

A wonderful, small boutique - type hotel. We rented the palapa roof room (without AC) which was very unique, felt like we were in the jungle, very private. Beds are comfortable, everything is very clean and quiet. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and the breakfasts were delicious. While we were in Tulum we had a LOT of rain which...

You can even go back into the garden and see different types of plants and trees growing mangos and limes.. etc. They have a...

My husband and I stayed here December 2013. We couldn't say anything bad about it. Our room was clean, pretty and perfect for the two of us. We ate delicious breakfast and the owner was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We rented a car and drove to the beach when we wanted, but I think biking could be a fun...

We had a lovely, spacious cabana - very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful in recommending local eateries as the hotel restaurant was closed on the evening we were there. The breakfast was delicious - in an open but covered dining area next to the pool.

We stayed in Don Diego de la Selva recently for 3 nights. We initially wanted to stay for 2 nights, but loved the hotel so much on arrival, we stayed an extra night. The hotel has 13 rooms, a lovely, heated swimming pool and lapa area with ceiling fans and tables for dinner or breakfast. Our room was spacious, the...

We had had a very long travel day, and found respite and refuge in this hotel. The room was clean, air conditioned and comfortable. Out the glass doorway was our own little piece of jungle which felt very private and intriguing for our first taste of the tropics. The restaurant was under an enormous palapa that had just been replaced....
