Posada Lamar was amazing. We stayed for 9 days in beachfront bungalow Zafiro and it was a really great choice. The whole staff, especially Adriana at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of tips and made us feel very comfortable. Sunny days, healthy breakfast, clean bungalow, beautiful beach and seawater, the sound of...

A family of four parachutes onto the jungle beaches of Tulum and lands in Posada Lamar where they are taken in by kindly folks offering tasteful and characteristic accommodations and thoughtful service. This was June so the heat and bugs were a concern, so remember this: sleep with doors and windows open to capture ocean breezes, keep mosquito net closed...

Tulum is, without a doubt, one of the most magical places on the planet and Posada Lamar is the ideal to place to stay while visiting Tulum, whether you are a couple, family or solo traveler. I have stayed at Posada Lamar several times and each visit just gets better and better. The location is marvelous – right on a...

Posada Lamar exceeded our expectations in every way. Standard stuff: Rooms thoroughly cleaned and trash carried away daily. Sheets, bath towels, and beach towels changed daily. Warm water. Mosquito nets in good repair. 24 hour security, with good security locks on each bungalow. Mattresses are better than I have at home. Wifi connection is secure and mostly reliable (we always...

Posada Lamar's location is good. Situated in the central stretch of hotels on Tulum Beach road, it provides a good alternative to the big resorts. The cabanas are clean, eco-friendly and very nicely . Each cabana is unique in its design and structure, and has it's very own sit-out area and hammocks. But the best thing about Posada Lamar is...

Cute, small, super clean cabanas right on the beach. A bit pricey for what you get--in comparison with similar accomodations in Tulum. Towels, sheets, and facilities were spotless. Staff is friendly but could be more efficient: breakfasts were usually between 30, even 40 minutes late; staff was slow in solving problems in the cabin--and in some some cases they did...

Marfil was awesome and breezy! Beautiful small touches and super relaxing. Manuel was very friendly and helpful. The service was outstanding- helped us set up snorkeling, called us a cab, got us extra water, offered a free cooler to use during our stay. No complaints here except the coffee. But you can just walk to Posada Margarita for a cappuccino!

I spend a romantic weekend with my boyfriend in Posada Lamar and their is nothing to critizise. The cabañas are beautiful and very unique..the beach is great and the service is good and very friendly. In that beachfront Posada you can enjoy the stars at night with an ocean sound background music and candle lights or wake up with a...

Such a special location! Impecable, warming, welcoming and efficient staff. Really beautifull, natural cabannas made on recylcled materials with pretty good taste. Great habit of cutting electricity form midnight on. Lighting in the rooms to be improved. The rest, simply perfect. Special thanking mention to Adriana on the reception. Somewhere to recommend....or maybe to keep in secret!
