The room was very comfortable and quaint, exactly as described with beautiful art hanging throughout. Only minus was one outlet in the room we would recommend doing what we did by using an adapter with multiple outlets or USB connections. There was no AC in the room which made it a little uncomfortable at times, but just more reason to... More

We stayed in the ''Titanic Room'' which is the blue room beachfront with a private terrasse. Don't get me wrong the room itself is gorgeous, with a king bed, the sound of the sea, cute decor and a perfect view. BUT We were aware that there was no A/C, we chose a beachfront room for the view and we thought... More

I had been doing a few weeks of traveling and decided to stay in Tulum for a few days of full relaxation before returning home. I chose this hotel because I thought the pictures online were so interesting. The pictures are definitely true to what I saw personally! The hotel is wonderfully decorated and painted to reflect the culture and... More

In my 25 years of traveling I have never experienced such a consistently depressing and mediocre place. Let's begin with the receptionist and staff who barely said "hello", never once did they smile or make us feel welcome. That's not normal in Mexico. We paid for a hotel which was "beach front" but were sent across the street to their... More

Breathtakingly beautiful views. Very authentic rooms and layout. Quite possibly the perfect hotel if not for construction next door(which will hopefully end since we're planning on returning every year!). Tanya, the host, was fantastic- the mother Teresa of the hospitality business. All in all, even with constant noise, the hotel was outstanding. Only had a Mexican raccoon come in the... More

The property is beautiful. The beach is beautiful. However during my entire trip there was construction going on. Constant banging from next door from 9am till late in the afternoon so no rest. Then they were renovating the room next to me so constant construction noise from that. So I didnt get to rest the entire time I was here.... More

The rooms are really nice (better are the rooms by the sea). Breakfast really tasty, friendly staff, nice small beach. Bike rental and many bars and restaurants are next to the hotel. Unfortunately missing air condition makes the room very uncomfortable because it was to hot to sleep. We will try to find different hotel next time.

SO charming comfortable and quaint. All the rooms are gorgeous and uniquely decorated. Extremely clean and comfortable beds. Eco friendly hotel. Staff is personable and nice. The breakfast was simple but so delightful. Location is perfect: with easy access to downtown Tulum, the Ruins and nearby Cenotes and other attractions. Plenty to do. We initially had a room on the jungle... More

I looked online for SOOO long trying to work out were to stay in Tulum and I finally decided on Posada del Sol and I was so happy I did.
