Thanks for taking the time to write such a beautiful letter in your second language. I applaud you. Glad you mentioned the sounds of the jungle. It is beautiful and peaceful in a natural way. Please come back and stay longer next time.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Selva Mariposa at the onset of our Tulum vacation and it was fantastic. The flora, the huts, the water features are all so elegantly constructed, we could spend hours just enjoying ourselves on the grounds. Lou and Moe were...More

Thanks for the kind words, but just for the record, two nights is not enough to get a good feel for La Selva Mariposa. We hope you come back and spend more time with us.

This was by far one of my favorite tropical accommodations over years of international travel, beloved by both myself and my 11 year old son. The rooms were artistically decorated, the hosts unobtrusive yet caring. The property felt safe, magical, and very serene. Mari and...More

Thanks for your kind words. We do try to provide everything WE can possibly think of that travelers might need, from coffee supplies in the room to beach pads. Sometimes the sound of the waterfalls is distracting for a restful sleep, but the water flow...More

Yes, it is safe to drive from Tulum to Valladolid. We will recomend you to drive in the day instead of driving in the night. Make sure to fill the tank, pay in cash and you will be there in less than 2 hours.
