This is an Eco hotel, there is electricity at night time in the cabañas. It is also possible to get towels and blankets with a deposit. I found the staff to be very friendly, but I spoke Spanish with them. It's a wonderful place if you aren't too high maintenance.

Cabanas are very BASIC, in accordance with the environment, it is ok, but the lack of common toilets is a problem, there is just one bath per gender and without light from 7 PM to 7 am, so you are completely in the darkness with a long line waiting that you finish (so stressing!). There are much better ecolodges in...

Overall, I had a pleasant experience. The staff in the hotel was very friendly, nice and helpful. We could rent bicycles to go to the archeological site, but instead we walked there and it took about 10 min. We had a private room and I really loved it. The room design was unique, hut like yet modern. What I love...

We spent 3 nights, 2 adults and 9 yrs old kid. if you like really wild and evological place this is. Lights only 7 to 7 , few steps to the beach. There are cabanias with only the 2 beds and a coumpke of chairs. We use sharing bathroom (almost galf of price instead a private bathroom). The only objection...

First, this beach is IN the national park and so it IS an "eco-hotel" which is why they don't have electricity during the day (the generator charges via sunlight during the day--you get power at night), it's why it isn't a giant Vegas-style resort, etc. BUT..... it's absolutely amazing! We went in early june and my boyfriend had NEVER traveled...

I stayed for 6 nights at the hotel, and here is my break down. Hopefully this will be helpful to others: The location is amazing. Its basically a 5 minute walk to the ruins and the beach is spectacular! I walked along the beach south of the hotel and compared to all the other eco-tourism and eco-chic hotels, I think...

We hired bikes, and they insisted on taking my husband's licence, even though we paid upfront and were staying there. We brought the bikes back 12 hours early and were not given the licence. I have since sent numerous emails to which I either get no response or they offer to help. I have already asked them to send it...

We arrived and didn't get the thatched roof cabana we were hoping for but in the end were glad as we checked out some of them and were quite horrified- slumping mattresses, dirty, dark, bugs, no fan. We ended up in a separate family room (for six) and there were just two of us. Great bed, lots of room to...

Don't book this place through Hotels.com--when we went to check in, they couldn't find our reservation. We loved this place so much we ended up staying for 3 nights. The staff is wonderful, especially the bartender. Their food is mediocre, but the atmosphere of this place makes up for it all. This is not a place to stay if you...

My girlfriend & I spent 9 nights here at the end of Feb & we had a lovely time. We have stayed in beach huts in Cambodia & Goa & know what to expect. If you pay $50 dollars a night as we did (or whatever less than half the rate of anything that isn't a tent is on that...
