Nothing fancy but clean and friendly. Not exactly beachfront but the nicest beach we have encountered. Good food at the beach club. Lacking a bit in the customer service area but it is Mexico. Walking distance to ruins but not to town.

Fantastic seafood and value for the money. range of fresh dishes really assisted in making a long day of travel enjoyable. I will go back to this place next trip. But stay longer. Guys in tuxs serving drinks on a white sand beach.

We arrived in tulum by car late one afternoon last week and were under some pressure to find a place before it got dark. (Dumb, I know.) When we found out that the place we stayed last time had more than doubled its rates - and it's one of the more "reasonably priced" accommodations on the playa - I was... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. Enrique, Silvia and their staff never fail to take care of all of our needs. From the staff at reception, the cleaning ladies, beach staff, the smiling breakfast lady, security, etc; they are all top notch. Our rooms were kept very clean and the beds were very... More

Unfortunately, we got stuck here on a excursion to Tulum and Coba. We attempted to sit on one of the lounges, and immediately one of the employees ran over and immediately told us to get up or pay 10$ per lounge. I asked to move to one of the chairs in the sun. Guess what... 5$ per lounge in the... More

To say that El Paraiso saved our vacation is an understatement. Our original accommodation reservations fell though upon arrival in Tulum and thanks to a stroke of luck and a fantastic taxi driver we found El Paraiso. We were greeted with a warm and friendly smile immedately. The hotel room itself was very nice. Nothing fancy but very clean and... More

The best beach club on what is said to be the second most beautiful beach in the world. Great facilities and good prices - sun loungers and table and chairs was about a £5 for the day. Drinks and food were great and very good value - drinks and meals for 4 people cost around £15 each - great location... More

The best location on the beach in Tulum. Palm trees, soft sugar sand, and electricity all night long. No rocks to walk around here, only palm trees. Comfy room with mini split a/c works all night long. Very clean rooms with nice porches to eat your continental breakfast on. Excellent security. Room has mini safe. Nighttime guards around perimeter of... More

After a bad experience in another hotel in Tulum this was a fresh breath of air. Defiantly a good hotel with amazing beach in decent cost which is very hard to find in Tulum. A big room and great shower! The breakfast include was nice although they don't have any chairs or tables to sit and eat it so you... More

"Paradise is like exactly where you are right now…only much, much better" Laurie Anderson At El Paraiso Hotel we take great pride in the untouched nature of Tulum. We have therefore created a small hotel in harmony with nature without waiving the comfort of modern living. Our vast pristine white sandy beach and the calm crystal-clear waters invite to stress free beach days, water activities and romantic walks along the shore line. Cool off with a refreshing young coconut picked from one of our innumerable palm trees, take up diving or kite surfing, or just be, and let all your worries disappear while you relax in the shade of an umbrella.Explore the natural wonders and archeological sites of Tulum. One of the best preserved Mayan ruin is just around the corner from El Paraiso Hotel. The ruins set at the top of lime stone cliffs overlooking the waters offer visitors spectacular views. The Sian Kaan Biosphere, cenotes and caves hidden deep within the jungle, as well as national parks can all be found within short distance from our hotel. Add to this the second largest Reef in the world just off shore and the abundant marine life of the Caribbean, which has made Tulum and important and extraordinary location for all types of water sports. After a day at the beach or discovering the surrounding areas, El Paraiso Hotel is a place to relax, unwind and disconnect from the busy days of the normal life. “Lowest number rooms are closest to the beach (e.g. #1, #2) and afford a slightly better view of the ocean - other than that they are pretty identical.”

  • The shower has really good water pressure!

“All the rooms seem the same as they are lined up, motel style. I would guess, the one closest to the beach is best BUT if the house is being rented out and they are loud, you are more likely to get hit with the noise the worst.”
