Last evening we decided to venture out for dinner ... "Let's try The Horns Inn at Goosnargh" ... so we did. We were two, arriving at about 6:45pm, with no booking. We were invited to have a pre-dinner drink in the bar - a glass of wine and a pint of bitter shandy. Very nice. For our meal, we were...

Went for a meal for our wedding anniversary and the food was fabulous with excellent service by the waiter and very friendly staff. Have always had great meals there and my husband adores the soup. The chef even made us custard to go with the sticky toffee pudding and the bread and butter pudding!!

Dated layout and decor welcome diners and drinkers alike. Don't be put off though as the beer is kept well and the food was very appetising. When ordering food we ended up with our third choices as so much of the menu was unavailable. Even with all that it was a pleasurable experience with attentive staff and reasonable prices.

We celebrated my birthday today at this wonderful quaint Inn with its beautiful ambience. As usual the service was fabulous, the Sunday Lunch was the best. We had the " Roast Duck" which is to die for. Spoilt for choice on desserts too!!! Nobody does it better than Ye Horns Inn, Goosnargh, Preston. It has been run by the same...

My husband and I stayed here on a Saturday night while attending a wedding close by. Firstly the inn is within a lovely setting and nice and quiet. On booking we were a little unsure wether we would like the room ,as commented by other reviews the decor is a little dated however we were pleasently suprised by the size...

Ate dinner here with friends. First of all I always enjoy a pint here in the snug bar, and now they brew their own this is even better. Three different beers available. The barman is friendly and in our case helpful and resourceful in getting us a table for dinner, they appeared quite busy as usual. Despite the quaintness of...

Just want to thank the owners and staff for a lovely Sunday afternoon. We hadn't planned where to eat but drove down from a walk on Beacon Fell and it was the first pub we came to. As a party of 11 we were quite an intrusion into the small bar but the owners were very welcoming and assured us...

Just been for a meal this evening. Whilst the food was alright the service was painfully slow and there was often no staff available at all. The advertised peas and tar tare sauce did not arrive with the fish. Then it took a while before we spied any staff before asking for the missing items. By the time they arrived...

Recently, my wife & I stayed at this hotel while in the Preston area visiting a friend. We were not disappointed , having picked it out of a number of places to stay from our research on the web. The room was very comfortable & very well-appointed. The only thing that detracted for us was that the shower was over...
