The room I got was fairly clean, the bed was good but the owner is not to be trusted. He promised me that my room would have AC and it didn't so I had to asked for another room. He then said that I had to pay extra for it. I had to negociate a long time to reduce the extra. After getting my new room, he tried no to give me the remote for the AC. If I had not been careful, I wouldn't have it. And when I paid for the room, he tried not to give my full change back. The person in the room next to me found him also very suspicious. In conclusion, the room was good but be very careful with the owner. The owner tried to rip me and other persons off

So lets start with the fact that when we came to the guesthouse no one was there to welcome us... After spending half an hour serching for someone who works here the boss came and he was all angry and we were not feeling welcome at all... When we came into the room we started up the ac and a couple minutes after the "boss" guy came into the room, with no knocking or nothing and turned off the ac and took the remote controll... He wanted to charge us 5 dollars per day for the ac, and 5 dollars was the room price... At first we didnt want to take the ac and give him double the room price, not because of the 5 dollars but because the way he reacted... After half a day we decided that we need the ac because it was hot like in an owen so we came to the reception (again serching for someone half an hour) and paid for the ac in advance for 3 days... The ac was not working properly, there was no cold air coming out and there was water dripping from the ac on the bed we were sleeping on... We told that to the boss and he just ignored us... Next morning we went to find some breakfast and the boss guy wanted us to go to his restaurant but we refused because of all the things he did in just one day... The result... Every time we went out of the room he went inside and turned off the ac, so whenever we came back the room was a million degrees and we had to wait for at least 2 hours for the ac to cool it down just a little bit... They did not clean the room not one day tge bathroom was dirty and the whole experience was terrible... If anybody is reading this avoid this place to the max. And if the owner is reading this... I hope you and your restaurant wont be having any more new guests... Terrible behavior, you dont deserve a cent...

We stayed in a bungalow with a fan. The room was nice, new and clean. Central location, cleaning of the room was every day. We really liked it and would definitely recommend it as a nice place to stay on the island.

Arrived at the island and walked to our bungalow, no one was around to greet us, couldn't find a single person to check us in.. we went to the bar over the road and thought maybe someone will be back shortly to help us.. but nothing, everything was shut down, we shouted hello hello to see if we could get anyone's attention.. we asked the people over the road they said to go to the restaurant down the road, so we did and eventually got shown to our room. No service here whatsoever but most of the island IE restaurants, booking boat trips, trying to even pay for the accamodation the day we left.. no ones is around at all. The room itself was OK, had a mosquito net which was good as there is heaps of bugs, there was a metre square hole going straight up to the room on the ceiling of our bathroom which meant anything can get in.. the biggest spider iv ever seen in the bathroom when we arrived and another in the bedroom. The room was very basic, just a bed and that's it. Then a bathroom, shower worked fine and was warm water. The room was unbearably hot as it only had a fan which we was aware of when we booked but never again!! Overall I don't think much of this place mostly just because there's no interaction with any staff at all, no hello, no goodbye, no matter what time of day no one was ever there. On various occasions we seen people looking in the reception of the guesthouse wanting to speak with owners or ask a question and never any luck.
