We went for Sinar Eco for Chinese New Year partly because it was convenient, available and close to Singapore. After a very tiring vacation to Japan at the end of last year, we wanted to rest and relax for CNY and after going through recommendations we settled on Sinar mainly because it did not involve another flight. Booking was friendly and straightforward over Whatsapp, the hotel recommended a transport company that fetched us from our residence and dropped us off at the hotel entrance. Great service at a reasonable price too especially for CNY. Once we got to the hotel, I was a bit disappointed with the room because while it was spacious enough for 5 it had no creature comforts such as a wardrobe, a place to open your luggage, a desk, a ref, a lounge to relax and eat, or a

I was bored n just wanted to spend a quiet day out. So I went to Sinar Eco Resort and paid RM 30.00 for a farm encounter. The dogs and cats were salvaged strays, caged but upon asking I was told that their guests were not happy that these animal were a disturbance during meal times. Thought that was acceptable. But overall the animals looked well fed n groomed. The RM 30.00 I paid was worth every sen because I had 6 hours of fun mingling with felines, doggies, peacocks, poultry and even fish. Finally a dip in their covered pool to cool myself truly made my day.

Saw this resort online and decided to conduct a survey with wife to decide if it's a good place for our next family trip. The route to this place is not easy to find as it doesn't appear on Waze or Google maps. But if you have a Garmin, it helps. Luckily, we always back up with a garmin when traveling in Malaysia. When we finally arrived at the resort, which is in the middle of a huge oil palm plantation, it stood out like a sore thumb against its surroundings as it was definitely clean and well managed. We went to the reception and was offered a tour on their golf buggy around the resort after she learned that we were only here to survey - nice touch, I'd say. We went opposite the accommodations building where the farm was situated and I must say they're much cleaner
