Myself and my partner recently stayed at the above 5* b and b and were thoroughly spoiled by Maggie and her partner Roger. The accommodation is top notch, there is a very large bedroom and bathroom and the breakfast room is second to none. Roger suggested a route to encompass places of interest for our continued journey and Maggie provided...

We stayed here last night and didn't want to leave! Setting is absolutely beautiful and our room (which included our own breakfast room and huge bathroom) was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. A real five star experience. Breakfast was amazing, all locally sourced produce and well presented. Maggie and Roger are brilliant hosts, who cannot do enough for you during...

The Courtyard is a lovely home, in an attractive rural location. The room is very comfortable and the gardens fabulous! There are great views of sweeping farm land at the front of the house. Maggie, is fun, warm and welcoming; and invariably goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. And she does the best breakfast's ever! Alan...

We stayed with Maggie over a weekend for a family gathering that was happening in the Newport area. The delightful dwelling in the heart of rural Monmouthshire is convenient to the Wye Valley and Tintern Abbey. The hostess made us more than welcome and was extremely helpful with tips and directions to getting the best out of our visit. As...

I would love to keep this beautiful B & B a secret, but it would be so unfair to the superb host Maggie & her beautiful home. I seriously cannot fault it. Tasteful decor, comfy bed, delicious breakfast (all local produce) & stunning garden. Maggie's attention to detail is second to none. Excellent.

Booked The Courtyard after reading the reviews and they were all spot on. Lovely accommodation, with a bedroom, bathroom and dining room to ourselves and a very attentive host in Maggie. Best breakfast I can remember having at a hotel or guest house, all made with local produce - cereals, fruit juice, yoghurt, poached pears, fresh pineapple, toast and croissants...

We have just spent 2 nights at the fantastic Courtyard at Carrow Hill hosted by the lovely Maggie. 5 of us stayed on Saturday night using both the bedroom and apartment and then 2 of us continued our stay in the apartment . The rooms are tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork by Maggie - the kitchen was very well equipped...

After a long unbroken journey we were absolutely delighted to be greeted by Maggie with a pot of tea and tea cakes. The apartment had everything we needed and was absolutely immaculate. Following a good nights sleep, the breakfast Maggie had cooked from locally sourced produce was to die for. I don't think we have received better service than this...

We stayed one night here to visit family in the area and couldnt have picked a better spot. The place is immaculate, the host is willing to help with whatever you need. The food is incredible. Was a shame we only stayed one night!

Firstly, let me start by saying that we have stayed around the world in some of the best hotels. Our experience at The Courtyard this weekend probably beats most of the service and furnishings we encountered at many hotels. Compared to St Pierre Country & Golf Club (which is where other wedding guests were staying at a cost of £120)...
