Sandat is a beautiful resort in the middle of the nature! The interior is stunning!

Because sandat is in the middle of ricefields and jungle, you can relax in peace.

The food is very good, would recommand the banana flambee for dessert.

Most friendly staff you’ll ever meet!

Would definately recommend this place😃

It's hard to pick a hotel out of the many that offer this kind of accommodation in Ubud. They look quite similar, usually offering a cozy room with a forest view and an infinity pool, but what I liked about Sandat in particular was how it blends with the surroundings.

Firstly it's a tent. It's a luxury tent, so the comfort is as good as it gets. And the advantage is that the room is basically open to the outside, so your just separated of the nature only by nets (it's possible to close the "windows" but we liked to keep it open the whole time, even at night.

Then you have the private pool. The outside area with the quite large pool and loungers is just amazing. And you can't actually see other people or the hotel areas, so the sense of relaxation is unique. The outside shower was a great plus.

The room is also really cozy and nicely decorated, and they offer a huge daily basket of fruits. Only the shower curtains you need to get used to, but it's also not bad. Good AC but we mostly used just the fan. Breakfast is amazing: they offer a small buffet with delicious bread, cakes and fruits, you can order your eggs, and on the table they put handmade jams.

The service was also great and they offer a shuttle bus to the center any time you need.

In general it was an amazing experience worth trying.

We stayed at Sandat in August 2019 for 5 days and we absolutely loved it. Staff was very attentive and helpfull , food was amazing ( lots of Italian dishes ) and we felt really spoilt. The Italian owners organize one evening a sounds healing by the yoga place and it was a mind blowing experience. Thank you for the amazing memories and we look forward to be back one day soon.

We stayed here for a few nights and we would have dreamed to stay longer!!
Sandat glamping tents is an oasis.
Close to ubud central but far enough not to be in the middle of the ubud market traffic.

Frederic, the owner and his staff were accommodating to any need. The attention to detail around the whole resort was amazing.
The rooms are all beautifully decorated and oozes tranquility.

All your needs are catered for. From tours to shuttle services morning yoga, cooking classes even private spa services.

Regardless, the tents are situated amongst the beautiful trees and amazing rice terraces with the entire rainforest as your back drop to your private pool.

All tents are equipped with air con and fans and amazing shower facilities.

I can’t recommend this place anymore!

10stars out of 5 :)

We had a wonderful time. The tents are very private, very clean and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and ever wish is accommodated with a smile. Sandat is definitely a place where you go to chill out - read books, dip in the pool, get a massge, lie in the sun, eat healthy food and strengthen relationships. Sandat has a beautiful dining area and a great menu with a mix of Balinese and Italian food all of which is very tasty - and healthy. The trip to Ubud is through authentic rice paddies and only takes 15 minutes or so - so the shoppers can have a nice wander around then come back and cool down in the private pool. Thanks to everyone for having us.

The place is beautifull, well designed and very well managed. The experience of living in the tent was magical and misterius. We left all the sides open so during the night we enjoyed the jungle sounds and breeze. The feeling of privacy was very remarkable and enjoyed the plunge pool. Also de dinning experience was very satisfactory and I highly recommend the Raghu gnocchi which are home made and delicious. The breakfast buffet had a very wide variety and all fresh and savoury.
Don't miss the yoga class with Pak Nengah which was fantastic as he relieves your muscles tension on the pose with his magic fingers! The views to the rice fields at the yoga shala were amazing.

Sandat Glamping is really nice, we enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a excellent breakfast, and a free shuttle to Udbud town and home again, which is very nice. We stayed in the Suite Penjor with a private swimming pool which was really pleasant on warm days.

We stayed for one night in one of their private pool tents. It’s been such an amazing experience. The tents are very private and not overlooked. We had a couples massage which was absolutely amazing and the tent itself offered a unique stay with a round bed, a shower outside and inside. It’s super quiet and perfect for those looking to recharge their batteries. They offer various activities and yoga at 7am every morning. The breakfast does not disappoint either. Everyone is very friendly to make your stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back and next time for longer to make the most of it.

Found this hidden gem from internet, and yep it is really worth a visit! Stayed here for 3 nights and it was all amazing!

To be honest i was kinda curious at first and sceptical, once landed jn Bali, the representative was super nice and polite, he made sure our trip from the airport to the resort wasn’t boring at all.

Once we’ve arrived, the receptionist also amazingly polite and superb! And yeah, all felt magical. I feel like i was in another world. A sweet escape from a busy city life, super green environment, fresh air, and the smell of rice fields and rain.

Definitely worth and definitely recommended. We will be back for sure! Thank you Sandat Glamping Tent team, thank you Mr. Tango as the GM to always ensure everything are top notch!

Hope to see you guys again soon!

Much Love ❤️

DS & HY

Stayed for 3 nights in one of the lumbungs with my 4 teenage children and could not have been happier with everything about this beautiful place! We all loved this amazing experience. The whole property is so well cared for with attention to detail. The lumbung was so comfortable and we loved hearing the wildlife at night. The food was also fantastic. The staff were always so smiley and accommodating too. We would love to return one day!

Is the food here reasonably priced? Do they provide floating breakfast? Thanks
Answer from Christina M

No floating breakfast but the food is reasonably priced. Resort is so small you will most likely be the only person eating in the lobby and breakfast is included with your room.
