Comfortable rooms, smart bathroom, extremely friendly and helpful owners, and most strikingly excellent breakfasts! A buffet of fruit, cereals and yoghurts, generous pots of tea or coffee, and very well cooked hot options. My favourite was Eggs Royale which had an exceptionally well cooked poached egg, flavoursome tomato, generous smoked salmon and tasty hollandaise. We arrived quite late at night... More

We came down to Chichester for a wedding and stayed at The Croftside for the weekend 6th may. Our stay was made very enjoyable by the Hosts Geoff & Sue. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choices. We would defiantly recommend the Croftside. Thank you for making our weekend stay enjoyable.

Geoff & Sue are excellent hosts - nothing too much trouble, very friendly and attentive. Breakfasts were wonderful (best poached egg ever!) and The Boathouse was spotless, comfortable and quiet. WiFi was very good - plenty of plug sockets (not often found in b&bs) and an ideal location for Chichester, the Marina and local places of interest. Lots of pubs... More

We stayed there one night to enjoy the weekend discovering that lovely area and we couldn't be more happily surprised. We stayed in the Boathouse and it was perfect for us: cosy, everything spotless and with the extra privacy of being in a mini house independently, with all what you need. It's perfect located to see beautiful places like West wittering... We stayed whilst celebrating a family birthday nearby. A great location for visiting Chichester marina and three Witterings. The room was lovely and Sue and Geoff great hosts. The only negative was the lack of privacy whilst in the bathroom with only a fine curtain separating it from the bedroom! However, we enjoyed our stay and would re - visit.

I stayed here with my daughter when we went to the Theatre in Chichester. We were made to feel very welcome, the rooms were spotless and very well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I have ever had in either a B&B or Hotel. The owners follow an environmentally friendly policy which I endorse and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, around the time of a family gathering. This is a well run B @ B. Parking is fine. The room we stayed in was well appointed, bed was comfortable, hot drinks can be made in the room. Breakfast room overlooking the rear garden very pleasant. Good choices for breakfast, nicely cooked. I have read the reviews for this b and b and I can only assume that you have favoured the best reviews which I think is very deceiving. As I said in my review there was no door on the bathroom, only a curtain, and the toilet made a terrible noise when it was flushed. You failed to put this in... More

I have to confess to not understanding this review, nor what the reviewer is implying. I thought everyone knew that Tripadvisor's reviews are not at the mercy of the accommodation providers whims of whether to publish or not (either in full or part) and are published as reviewed by guests. The lady's review on our own site has also been... More

My partner and I only stayed for one night after a Wedding just 5 minutes drive up the road however, the room (Salterns) was a great size to spread our 'make-ourselves-beautiful-for-the wedding' gear. The bed was very comfortable! The room had some lovely touches such as the wonderful homemade soaps and we were also impressed with the eco policy Sue... More

This is our second stay here and we had no hesitation in booking this year after a fab stay in 2012. The accommodation - The Boathouse - was perfect for an extended stay as it... More
