Casa Acayu was inspired at the colonial houses and hides in the middle of a land of coconut palm trees, 180 meters far from the a beautiful savage beach. An veranddah surrounds the house and gives access to the seven rooms, carefully decorated. 7 New fantastic deluxe bungalows were built very recently with jacuzzi and deluxe amenities and confort. Some of them with private pool.

Besides the beach, Casa Acayu really surprised me and my family. All employees smile and are really helpful to assist you. Good food. Good beach service. Good wines. The owners are very gentle. Quiet place too.

This amazing little hotel located by the beach is a real gem. Without any effort and always with a honest smile the staff does everything to make sure Guests comfort is secured. Friendly and not intrusive service on a 5 stars level. The accommodations spacious, luxury, extremely comfortable on a first world high quality; European top level with all modern and desired amenities. Strong and reliable wi-fi connection everywhere, indoors and outdoors! A must! Bungalows are even more spacious and extremely well decorated. Some of them come with private pool attached and most of them with private jacuzzi! So cool! :-) The cleaning/housekeeping staff is impeccable and the restaurant services are varied and of a high standard. Tasty and varied breakfast without closing hours. Great concept! Our 4 nights stay were memorable and I highly recommend the Casa Acayu to all those looking for the best by the beach. A truly oasis. Don’t think twice!

This is my first review in Trip Advisor and I really have to begin with Casa Acayu because it is well deserved. We have travelled a lot around the world and stayed in all sorts of places, from the most simple to the most luxurious, but Casa Acayu really stands out among them all. Treatment is really personalized and everybody calls you by the name, even people you have never met before (I really mean it). You can have breakfast anytime from 6:00am to 6:00pm (great for long sleepers such as us) and it is always fresh and made by the guest. Rooms are freshing new and tell me about cleaning. It is the best we have ever seen far from home. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple of days with these beloved Portuguese fellows. I am sure you won’t regret.

My husband and I visited Casa Acayu in February 2019 for the fourth year in a row. When we arrive, it’s more like visiting good friends than staying at a hotel. The staff is well trained in customer service, and they are the most friendly, personable and genuinely nice people. Some of the staff have been at Casa Acayu for over 10 years, and the team works together to make sure that the guests are well taken care of. This year, we stayed in a new bungalow with a private pool and it was a real treat. Every morning our private pool area was cleaned and fresh towels were provided. The bungalow verandas are equipped with hammocks and comfortable lounges, and provide a very private outdoor space. The bungalows are very spacious and are decorated and furnished at the highest artistic as well as functional standard. Luxurious pampering is the the feeling one gets while staying at this pousada. The grounds are lushly landscaped and manicured; everything on the property always looks clean, fresh and well taken care of. Casa Acayu sits on one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. As a tidal basin, it has warm, crystal clear water pools and a reef that makes time at this unspoiled beach relaxing, especially with lounges, umbrellas, and beach service provided. Bicycles are available if you want to ride along the hard packed sand beaches, as are kayaks and paddle boards. Locals provide water taxi service to the reef, via quaint wooden painted boats. It is a picture perfect setting that looks like a postcard. We have been to many of the Brazilian beaches, and this is by far, our favorite. The main hotel pool has a swim up bar and lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. We love the new wooden lounge chairs that fold at the knee!! Breakfast is an elaborate feast and the menu for dinner is extensive. Both meals are served in open air venues which makes for breezy breakfasts on a second floor veranda with views of the palms and the ocean… and candlelit dinners under the stars. The seafood on the menu is fresh and really well prepared and both the breakfast and dinner are part of the half -board plan. One night for dinner, we had moqueca served table side; it was some of the best we have had in Brazil. We have to take this opportunity to say thank you to our morning servers who always remembered just the way we like our eggs; they started our day with a smile and a few lessons in Portuguese about the names of breakfast items. And, thank you to the dinner staff for really elegant service. Thank you Bartolomeu, Zacarias, Everton, Isaac, Lucas and Junior for your kindness and service. Special thanks to Januario who made sure that our stay was perfect in every way. At Casa Acayu nothing is left to chance, everything one could dream of wanting is provided at this lovely pousada. Thanks Alirio and Jose Carlos for a wonderful stay. See you next year.

This was our third visit and Casa Acayu just gets better and better. The staff are wonderful, always so positive, helpful and knowledgable. The accommodation so very comfortable with all mod cons. The gardens just so well tended,so beautiful and the food quite superb. My only constructive criticism would be that the gym would be so enhanced with a ‘CrossTrainer’. Anyway,we enjoyed a fabulous 6 nights and look forward to returning same time next year.

"Casa Acayu" is certainly one of the most well kept secrets of "Costa dos Corais", the Northern coast of the State of Alagoas in Brazil. A lovely "pousada", with comfortable suítes and bungalows, a Chef's restaurant, manicured gardens, an "almost" private beach with beautiful green warm waters (and beach service right on its golden and soft sands) and, principally, an outstanding well-trained staff. We spent wonderful days at "Casa Acayu": we were greeted by our names, we could have breakfast "at any time" we wished (Have you ever seen it? Breakfast at any time?) and, what is rarely seen on a resort, no small children running and screaming within its premises. If you are looking for peace, quietness and relaxation with comfort, rush and make your reservations. "Casa Acayu" heartily awaits you! Enjoy!

Once again a wonderful few days at Casa Acayu. This was our second visit and didn’t disappoint. (My only wish is that they’d include a cross trainer in their gym) The setting is even more beautiful as the gardens have matured, the bungalows are superb, the food absolutely first class and the staff as good as you’d find anywhere. We look forward to revisiting during 2918.

An exceptional hotel, well decorated with very good and comfortable accommodations, is located in a pleasant, quiet and beautiful beach on the Costa dos Corais, in São Miguel dos Milagres. The service is excellent, with a very helpful and outstanding staff, attentive to every detail during your stay. The food is also great, a traditional and regional cuisine. Everything perfect for a relaxing weekend!
