Pousada do Toque is very well reviewed by its Brazilian clientele but no English is spoken and it is not a suitable destination for non Portuguese speakers. With the help of Google we translated the whole menu and stored it on our iPad. There was no information sheet in the room so mealtimes and other activities were guesswork. The cabinas are comfortable and spacious, the food pleasant but unexceptional, the staff friendly and helpful but it is the location that is special. It is right on a wonderful beach with miles of golden sand and superb sea swimming with warm water and little seaweed. Pousada do Toque is certainly not an international destination - but it clearly has no aspirations to be!

Booked the hotel for 5 nights and only spent the first one. Booked a large villa and was frustrated with the run down appearance of the room, the gardens around my room, and the service itself. People were nice but unprepared. Food was good but a number of meals needed to be ordered up to 24 hours in advance. We ended up leaving to Maragogi's Camurim Grande.

We have been traveling all over the world but the staff we met at Pousada do Toque was the best! They really have pampered us all the time. All staff call us by name and ask if we need something all the time. They are smiley and show good humor from dawn to dusk. They also helped us in arranging the visit to the sea natural pools. The accommodation was clean, tide and well maintained. The food was great. No complains at all!

very well located on a stunning beach..at low tide there are immense clear water pools formed teeming with small sea life..great beach for long walks..unspoilt..well laid out pousada with immense ,comfortable, quirky old acomodations exhuding old world charm..superb food and friendly sevice

The hotel is very well located at São Miguel dos Milagres beach. The service is great, lead by Celio, Gil, Netinho, JB and team. Food quality is good, and they have plenty of healthy options. On the flip side, the rooms are too old and uncomfortable. And they don't accept credit cards!
