The rooms have a nice view of the plaza, which is quiet in the evenings for a nice walk. There are coffee shops, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. Also, the shower is one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. lots of water pressure!

The hotel is in a great shopping area. The service I experienced was great and the people were friendly and helpful. As I got sick with eating seafood, the staff helped me out and get to a taxi. Which I would advice anyone from the States to not eat the seafood. The hotel was clean and the food from the hotel is pretty nice. I looked at the other HOTSSON and this one is nicer and you just can't beat the location. I am definitely going to book another stay at this location soon.

I think this is probably the best location in Tampico. Every room has a view of the beautiful Plaza de Armas. We had a corner room on the top floor, so we had an even larger view. Tampico does not have many attractions for visitors, but this location is convenient to all of them - the market, port, historic buildings. Our room was large and comfortable, and the staff very professional and pleasant to deal with. Recommended!

If you’re visiting Tampico, Mexico this is a great hotel, clean, comfortable beds, great location. Right in front of the main Plaza de Armas. I didn’t take any pictures from the rooms, but It has a great view from the room. You will not be disappointed. Great rates too!

Had to change 3 times for an AC that would work No elevator go elsewhere I don't know what their problem is but it's bad Great location Nice view free breakfast Too bad it could be nice. Short staffed also

This hotel is right in the plaza with nightly shows right outside your balcony window and close to the beach. The beach was wonderful however surrounding area is not developed and is run down. Prices are great and this is a wonderful vacation spot

The hotel is in the center of downtown. You can walk downstairs and go to restaurants, shopping, fast food places, pharmacy, flower shop, everything is with in walking distance. The hotel has parking, free WiFi, free breakfast, small gym, and some conference rooms. During our stayed our shower drain wasn’t draining and we got moved to another room. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned and smelled good. However, the hallway smelled funny. Overall our stay was good. The pictures are from the room view.

The hotel is right on the main plaza. Double pane windows do a good job keeping things quiet. I think our rate was under $40 US. Free parking right next to the hotel. Tampico is not known as tourist destination, but It's certainly pleasant enough and the people are super friendly. The beach in CD Madero is some 10 K long, but when we were there it was too cool to enjoy it.

Tampico has had a bad rap because of past cartel violence. However if you can get past that it is a very relaxing location. There is a beach area but because of past problems it was empty. That is what got us to move into the city centre. there is no beach or pool with this hotel but if you want a relaxing time this is it. The hotel overlooks a town square and we were never short of things to watch. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops. With a three to four block walk you are in the open market. What an experience!! We went almost everyday and bought fresh fruit and vegetables and never got bored of going there. People were friendly and prices were very cheap. Three weeks was a little long for a beach guy however. Never had any thought about security.
