Wow. Well, thanks to a recommendation from a local American ex-pat, I ended up booking here for a friend's wedding last weekend. The proprietress, Antoinetta couldn't have been more lovely. She greeted me at the door, showed me to a lovely room and proceeded to make the best recommendations in town. She is originally from San Francisco, so she gets...

I looked at 20 different hotels and B&B's before choosing this one. I'm very picky about hotels. I don't need them to be overly fancy or trendy, but I do care a great deal that they are beautiful, thoughtful and memorable. I have traveled all over the world and had both amazing and awful experiences. However, we could not have...

We went to San Miguel de Allende just for the weekend and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! What makes this B&B so special, besides the perfectly kept amenities, beautiful decoration and clean modern comfortable rooms, is that Francisco and Antonieta personally make you feel like a true guest in their own home. Right from the start they...

This is our second time visiting San Miguel in 3 months, and we stayed at Antigua Capilla B&B both times. What a beautiful place, and what great hospitality Francisco and Antonietta show their guests. We stayed in the Guerrero room both times which has beautiful art, very comfortable furniture, and an incredible outdoor sitting area overlooking the beautiful town of...

We stayed here for two days over the 4th of July weekend - what a treat! The house is absolutely gorgeous with incredible attention to detail both in decor and also in construction. The nicest private home we saw in San Miguel. The room (Michoacan) was gorgeous - Spanish tile bathroom, vaulted barrel ceiling, rod iron bed, fireplace, the works....

This B&B is absolutely fantastic in every way. It's beautiful, tastefully decorated, spotless, full of nice touches, and run by very thoughtful and helpful owners, Antonieta and Francisco. We stayed in the Mata Ortiz room, which was large and comfortable with the biggest shower I've ever seen. We loved it! The bed was super comfortable, and the sheets were incredibly...

Antigua Capilla is a charming home away from home in San Miguel de Allende .Antonietta and Francisco welcome you as into their own home . It is close to town , but far enough away to escape the noise and excitement of the centre of town . This b&b is beautifully decorated with a keen eye for details and local...

This place is perfect in every way: quaint, clean, very comfortable room, yummy breakfast, extremely friendly owner. It's like staying at a friend's house. You can call the US free of charge from the room. There's Apple TV with really easy to use instructions. Free wi-fi. Even a list of nice restaurants to try in the city and a little...

Beautifully appointed B&B that indulges its guest with the high end sheets, a bed that I longed to climb I to at the end of a busy day and an amazing breakfast that sustained us in time. Our room was gorgeous, the terrace and rooftop afford beautiful views. Antoinette's taste is impeccable and every piece that is displayed is until...
