This hotel has several pros that balance all its cons. On the bright side, the location is centric, the building is old and looks very cozy, although the floor plan is kind of odd, the gardens are excellent but they need to hire some gardeners to give maintenance since everywhere you can see lots of leaves and some empty bottles,...

Great location. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Loved the large shower. Egg breakfast with sides was delicious in nice garden setting. We were welcomed by man named Juan. He parked our car at a nearby lot. Very helpful. He went back to our car several times for items we had forgotten. Excellent customer service.

It's only a 10 minute walk the main square. This is one of 7 hotels owned? operated? by the same company -- The courtyards are well-maintained with beautiful vegetation. For the most part, the staff are friendly and warm. We had the King suite with 3 huge rooms, plus a small private patio. The bed was firm -- just the...

Extremely noisy, you hear all from other rooms, people being sick / drunk all night, entering the hotel etc. Dirty room, not well clean, shower mounted reverse way when you can make it work... Too approximative for a pricing of a Marriott in Mexico city or other SPG hotels all around Mexico. Arrogant Management, they did propose a low compensation...

We recently stayed at Caaluna on the recommendation of a friend. This was a great recommendation. From the street, the hotel presents a modest sign, rose colored wall and iron gate. But once inside, you experience this beautiful, flower filled oasis of quiet and simple elegance. Each room is different and strung along a central walk way, Our room and...

Casaluna is a great location for a first visit. It is an easy walk to the square and lots of wonderful neighborhood bars and restaurants. It's comfortable, not luxurious, but so reasonable. We learned that if you need something, just ask. They are very accommodating. Breakfast is served outdoors, no heaters, so be prepared if cold weather is forcast. We...

For the price and location this is a great deal. Now if you require a bit more amenities/comfort from your hotels you may need to look elsewhere. We arrived at 7am -too early for check in- but they were able to hold our luggage and recommend a few places for breakfast. We tried back at 2pm and our room was...

We loved our room (junior suite) with a comfortable king bed, private outside seating & huge bathroom. It was unusual in a good way. The tub fawcets diidn't work so you have to shower no matter how enticing that tub looks. Most surprising is that the room has no heating or air conditioning so throw on a blanket at night...

Nicely located hotel for visiting Centro San Miguel. The two inner courtyards are visible from most of the rooms. Easy check in, friendly staff. Our large room (Junior Suite 205) faced the patio dining area. The room had no heat air conditioning or telephone, lots of storage, nice bathroom and in tub shower, safe, in room Wi-Fi, firm king bed,...

The hotel is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. The shower is very good and beds are amazing! The staff is also very friendly. However the breakfast could be better for the price we paid. Plain taste and doesn't offer good portions.
