I have being traveling for over 25 plus years and my stay at the Condo Posada La Ermita has to be one of the worst hotels I've have stayed in. For starters, I did read the reviews and knew what to expect kind of, I knew this hotel had steps and I mean a lot of steps to get to...

This is indeed an interesting place. Just about everything was great with a few idiosincrosies (sp) This place is very clean with beautiful landscaping all around. The pool area is great. I loved this pool because it was not heated. After hiking around all day a refreshing dip is better than artificially heated water. At any rate the water was...

There were only double beds and minimal furnishings and amenities. There were no heaters which is a necessity in SMA in January!! We moved out early. The staff spoke very little English and the individual that had some capability in English was not always available.

The hotel is one in which you get what you pay for, a clean room, a location that if it is not the best, is a 5 minute walk from down town. The fact that it was the house of Mario Moreno "Cantiflas" is not well shown, because the place has been modified a lot and resemblance more a memorabilia...

We planned to stay 4 nights that become only 1. Customer service was great, excellent view, but Beds are really old, not comfortable at all. No water heater, water was freezing. Noisy street since 5am. Really not a place to come back. You can do much better with this price.

This is one of the more difficult reviews I've written. Let's put it this way...they're doing the best with what they have and for the rates they charge, it's pretty good because San Miguel is way overpriced. (Go to Guanajuato, it's way better) Positives: 1. Views from higher rooms. Looking out over the whole city, early morning balloons floating by....

Stayed here 2 nights & loved it! Not fancy but very spacious rooms with mini fridge and all you need. Beds were old but they are supposed to be remodeled this month. I LOVED the view and great, big patio. Will definitely come back again. Oh, & just a 10 minute walk from downtown. ..most romantic place ever!

We booked this place because there were eight of us, it was a long weekend in Mexico, some of our parents had stayed there 30 years ago, it was available, and the price was reasonable. It is on a very busy narrow street high on a hill above town, so the views are spectacular. Because it once was Cantinflas' home,...

The room or suite was huge and several terraces up with the balcony overlooking the city. The view is spectacular. The rooms, although clean, have no heating and since we were there in the middle of January, the evenings got cold (mid-forty) and we huddled in the sofa in the living room under blankets to watch tv on a small...
