This hotel looks like it's from a Restoration Hardware catalog. It's a gorgeous and well-designed hotel. I visited the spa and Moxi restaurant. Both are awesome. The spa has one of the best steam rooms I've ever been in! If you get breakfast included in your hotel stay, it only includes pastries, fruit, and coffee/tea. Other things on the menu...

This hotel was a nice oasis of modern, sleek comfort. It was my first visit to San Miguel, and I loved all of the haciendas, and the market, and churches, really everything about the place. We walked all over the place, and afterwards, I truly enjoyed relaxing at the pool, and having a spacious room with great A/C! I was...

I had a massage and reflexology from Samantha. Most importantly to me. Four days ago I tripped in the cobblestone streets and severely sprained my ankle. I could barely walk for two days and for the past two days could only walk for about two blocks with a cane. After massage and reflexology I walked back 4 blocks to our...

Getting a room in Hotel Matilda was the worst booking mistakes that I ever made . I travel a lot and I love to stay in boutique hotels; however, I had a very poor experience in this hotel because of their unprofessional staff and getting food poisoning from their restaurant. We went to Mexico for our friend’s wedding and we...

We were very disappointed to see your review. Since no other guests experienced similar problems, we were quite surprised by your complaints. We’ve worked hard to achieve our reputation as one of San Miguel’s finest properties – named the #3 hotel in Mexico by Conde Nast Traveler. We are truly sorry your experience failed to meet your expectations. With regards,...
