We went for a family trip. The rooms and views were nice. The swimming pool was not working The hotel did not have restaurant or room service The first restaurant was 10 mins away To be considered if you go with kids The attention was not great They only answered with nods....

We stayed there just for one night. The room was very large and clean. The breakfast included is very tasty and with just one waiter we had to wait a little bit longer than wished, but it was worthed. I would just state that the view is beautiful but the swimming pool is unusable, Super cold.

Wonderfully located over looking San Miguel. Our room was spectacular. Large, spacious, with a wonderful view. Came with a free breakfast which starts the day off right. Courteous staff. Beautiful grounds. Not walking distance to the main courtyard downtown, need to take a taxi unless you're into hills. Worth the view. We will gladly stay here again.

We stay here for a week and had an amazing time, the staff is incredible!, very friendly and always looking up for you. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. The waiter, one of a kind! He remember how we like our coffee and our breakfast. For sure we are coming back!

I've read a lot of bad reviews on this place and it made me nervous when I found out that our family had booked our vacation here. We went in April, 2015. I think weather makes a difference. Our room was very large and spacious but the brick (?) floors are hard and cold and there was no heating in...

We booked a room at the Mirador del Frayle, and upon arriving were impressed with the view and the pleasant lobby. This impression faded pretty dramatically when we arrived at our room--it was in a dank corner of the courtyard, with barely any light, no telephone and no WiFi signal. Had the room been cheaper, we would have accepted some...

As others have correctly noted, the hotel and grounds are well kept and quite stunning. The view of San Miguel from the grounds is amazong to say the least. The best views are from the dining room on the second floor of the hotel. take your camera to breakfast! The pool looks inviting, but be prepared for some chilly water.We...

We stayed a cold rainy night in San Miguel. The Mirador Del Frayle Hotel was up the hill quite a distance from the town center that we came to see. The room had no heating or air conditioning. The hot water didn't work either. When we asked about it no one seemed to be able to do anything. Whin i...

Beautiful building, great view. No free wifi in the room, only the lobby. Restaurant open for 3 hrs/day and no cafe & nowhere else close to eat. No heat whatsoever in the winter, and it gets cold at night.

Hotel is very good! Friendly staff, clean room, nice service, and good breakfast. The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the centro, which means it has great view especially at its 2nd floor restaurant but also means some distance from centro. By walking, it takes 20 minutes to get to centro and 30 minutes to get back to hotel...
