My husdand and I spent three nights during our first trip to Mexico. The surroundings are lovely, our room was very cozy and comfortable, the service was great, and the breakfasts were delicious. We found our hosts, Heidi and Bill, to be gracious and helpful, and we particularly enjoyed hearing about their expertise in the art of Mexico, as well...

My husband and I had a delightful vacation in San Miguel between Christmas and New Year. Although we've visited Mexico several times, this was our first visit to the city. We typically base our decision as to accommodations on other travelers' reviews at this website, and we find that for the most part, they are accurate. Casa de la Cuesta...

I just spent 4 nights at Casa de la Cuesta with my 19 year old daughter and we both fell in love with the place the moment we walked through the doors. We were greated warmly by Jim and offered a refresco while relaxing in a beautiful room with fantastic art and wonderful colors as he told us about the...

We have been to San Miguel many times and loved the city. Altough this B & B was very nice architecturaly, We felt the service to be indifferent, the beds rock hard, and just not up to the caliber that the other reviews had listed.

We spent six excellent nights at Casa de la Cuesta in San Miguel de Allende from Dec.28-Jan. 3, 2007. The B&B is beautifully appointed with Mexican folk art from all regions. Heidi and Bill are great hosts, most willing to help out with a traveler's needs such as restaurant reservations or arranging a guide for a specific tour. Casa de...

I just returned from a 5-night stay at Casa de la Cuesta in San Miguel de Allende and my one word description is "outstanding." I love this place and feel so lucky to have stayed here. Each of the rooms (6) is spacious, clean and decorated with the wonderful folk art of Mexico. They are painted in bright colors so...

The best of both worlds because I felt pampered and cared for at the highest level, while feeling totally at home in the house on the hill. Heide and Bill have professional backgrounds and artistic interests which would make them comfortable in any company, and yet served coffee and cleared breakfast dishes as unobtrusively as the most humble of servants....

This is one of the nicest b&b's we have ever stayed in. Bill and Heidi are great hosts. The rooms are beautiful and filled with Mexican folk art, the view is fabulous and you don't go away from the breakfast table with an empty stomach. Bill has a fantastic mask museum which he just opened. Heidi has wonderful Mexican artwork...
