This is one of the nicest b&b's we have ever stayed in. Bill and Heidi are great hosts. The rooms are beautiful and filled with Mexican folk art, the view is fabulous and you don't go away from the breakfast table with an empty stomach. Bill has a fantastic mask museum which he just opened. Heidi has wonderful Mexican artwork... More

Visiting Casa de la Cuesta is like staying in a piece of art. Brilliantly hued walls, charming courtyards and terraces, folk-art filled rooms, an on-site mask museum and art gallery make vacationing here a special treat. Hosts Heidi and Bill serve up gourmet breakfasts around a big dining room table where guests gather to share travel stories. Whether it's your... More

After three nights at the Casa de la Cuesta [--], we fully understood why so many ex-pats migrate to San Miguel, in particular Heidi and Bill LeVasseur. They’ve built an amazing hacienda on the hill that’s been converted into a b&b, art gallery, mask museum and now, a cooking school. There’s really no need to leave – the food is... More

Every nook and cranny has something to look at and enjoy. The whole place exudes warmth and a feeling of comfort. The rooms are spacious and the rooftop views are stunning.... More

We had the honor of spending 8 nights at Casa de la Cuesta while attending a cooking class in San Miguel from August 19 thru August 27, 2006 . Heidi was off on an Alaskan jaunt so we were left to Bill's hosting abilities. He was a witty, intelligent host! Upon arrival at the unassuming door we were ushered into... More

San Miguel de Allende was our main Mexican destination. The internet had led Kathi to a bed and breakfast, Casa de la Cuesta, house on the hill. The taxi driver knew where it was but wound us through a number of neighborhoods before we arrived. One way street… no problem… back up when traffic allows! As the cab drove away... More

My husband and I have just returned from our sixth trip to San Miguel and our first stay at Casa de la Cuesta. We have stayed before at other B & B's and rented houses, and Casa de la Cuesta was by far our favorite place to stay. The room was fabulous, Heidi and Bill were gracious and accomodating hosts,...
