I stayed 2 nights in the Verde suite with my cousin. I saw so many beautiful pictures before but you have to go to actually see how beautiful this place is. The food alone will keep you coming back to this magical place. Everyday we had freshly made meals that will fill you up. The staff was very friendly and...

We stayed at this hacienda early this year in 2015 and it was the most HORRIFIC experience ever in our entire life. Service was terrible from management. We do not recommend it at all. Not worth your time and effort! The other downfall the hacienda is far from the airport and a nearby town. There is nothing nearby and certainly...

We recently spent five nights at the Hacienda. To start, we took over 2000 photos...it is just that gorgeous! The food is not only "real Mexican" but delicious and safe with a wonderful and friendly kitchen/dining staff. The morning starts off with fresh-squeezed orange juice and café de olla. It is unbelievably wonderful. We even took advantage of a quick...

At Hacienda with photography group for one week. Each room huge, locally furnished and unique. Grounds are beautiful and populated,in part by a stable and corral. Food was excellent and the staff attentive to our needs. Great place to visit with a small group (10-15). Hacienda is close to other local town. Overall, highly recommended.

This is the email I sent to the owners earlier this week about our stay... Words and pictures cannot even begin to describe our amazing week at Hacienda las Trancas! Many people describe it on TripAdvisor as magical... that is the perfect word! When my parents started talking about a big family trip two years ago to celebrate their 50th...

We went there to celebrate my husband´s birthday. The rooms were beautifully furnished and huge. My children loved the horse riding. The massages are fantastic and very affordable. The food is not super gourmet but healthy, hearty home cooked mexican food and is delicious. the guacamole and tres leches cake the best I have ever eaten. I really liked the...

Hacienda Las Trances is an amazing historical property (400+ years old) that has been lovingly and meticulously restored and updated. Not enough good things can be said about the accommodations, food and STAFF. "No" is not a word in the vocabulary of anyone at the hacienda. Nena, the hacienda's concierge was successful in making every request our group had happen;...

My wife and I have recently returned from our third stay at Hacienda Las Trancas. We first visited in 2007 (reviewed in April 2008) with a group of 12. We returned in 2010 (reviewed in October 2010) for a week with a group of 19. This time, 20 of us rented the hacienda for 8 nights. Both times that we...

I just returned from a second trip to Hacienda Las Trancas. It is truly a beautiful, magical place. The Hacienda is gorgeous and steeped in 500 years of history - each room entirely unique and beautifully appointed. The staff is friendly and so accommodating. The manager (Nena) absolutely goes the extra mile to ensure that you have a wonderful experience...

This place must be experienced to possibly understand how amazing it is. From the breathtaking views, to the lovely, romantic rooms, to the attentive and caring staff, to the lovingly prepared meals (3 x daily), to the day trips offered to San Miguel and Guanajuato - this was a truly magical experience that I will never forget. A small group...
