Our stay at Casa Maricela began with a warm greeting from Maricela, as she led us to our comfortable rooms, and the first of many delicious, healthy meals. This was like staying with a dear friend. The location is perfect, just a few blocks from El Jardin and look at the views from the rooftop terrace. TripAdvisor led me to...

Recently I spent several days at Maricela's casa with my college roommate. From all we read, I thought my expectations were spot on. However, the B&B, the daily meals, the staff, and Maricela's warmth and helpfulness were well beyond that. She gave the two of us separate rooms at the price of a double for our "comfort." The quality of...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Casa Maricela for four nights in January of 2009 and had a wonderful experience. The house is new, the room was clean and very comfortable, the rooftop patio and garden are amazing, the meals are extensive and delicious, and the location is very advantageous. Maricela is a great host, and her more “permanent” residents...

Maricela is a warm and gracious host. She serves absolutely delicious breakfasts and comidas principales. We all raved about her personal soup recipes which, we feel, should be gathered into a special book. Her staff is a happy group of young women who are always helpful and courteous.I personally enjoyed one of the best rooms in the house. It was...

My stay at the Casa exceeded all expectations. I'd never experienced a B & B before that was so personable. You feel as if you are visiting someone's home and there are other guests like you to socialize and have a good laugh with. The food was wonderful, well prepared and varied. Having a three course meal mid afternoon means...

A very charming Mexican B&B. The host is great and provides both breakfast and lunch. Both are of excellent taste and value. Lunch with all the guests, when the host sits at the head of the table is especially charming. The house is full of plants and flowers (especially outside) and is decorated beautifully. Please note that rooms do vary...

We needed to go to San Miguel on business/pleasure to take care a remodel we are doing on our newly purchased home there in December. We chose to stay at Casa Maricela based on Tripadvisor reviews. We stayed 2 nights at Casa Maricela in late November. We travel a lot, but we’ve never experienced anything quite like it. Staying in a B&B is supposed to make you feel like part of the home and family, but here that’s an understatement. Maricela is a warm and confident matriarch who presides over authentic Mexican breakfast at 8:00 a.m....
