If you are looking for a good quality resort with a more quiet atmosphere, Playa Grande will fill the bill. It is within easy walking distance of the main part of Cabo San Lucas so you can work off some calories after dining in the many good restaurants downtown. They also have an all-exclusive option if you prefer to eat...

We spend our anniversary week there most years and it gets better every year. It's clean and comfortable always and very relaxing. The whales provide entertainment every year as well. We highly recommend it!

We love the activity staff, especially Itzel. They keep you moving; all you need to do is join in. The indoor ping pong is an improvement out of the wind. Volleyball in pool or beach is good exercise and the Gym is well equipped. The rooms are sunny and lovely. Everything we need.

Really loved this place. Beautiful and clean. Great beach, lots of sand to play and stroll in. You can't swim or even wade there in the ocean because the undertow is so dangerous. They actually have people stationed around the beach to warn people away. However, there are five pools, so it's fine. You can see whales from the beach,...

We've been going to Playa Grande since 1997. We are owners, and are there 3 weeks/year. This year we noticed that the quality of service has taken a hit. Could not get a bellman to help with luggage as no one would answer a phone up in the lobby. (Our condo is at the other end of the property on...

I have been going to the Playa Grande Resort for many years, so I am uniquely qualified to write this review. Upon walking into the lobby, you immediately know this is a spectacular resort. It is breathtaking! The hacienda style architecture of the resort is pleasing to the eye and the maintenance of the buildings, grounds, pools, etc is second...

The location was great, a 5-10 min walk to the pier and all the nightlife and escursions. Felt super secure and was clean. They screwed up and we had to switch rooms mid trip but they did it all for us and they gave us a much nicer room.. Loved this place.

Dear Jimmy R, Thank you much for your review. As you mentioned, unfortunately, we are not bullet proof. We have very high occupancies and sometimes the reserved room availability can vary. We are glad we were able to find an alternative for you. We look forward to hosting you back again soon.

I am an owner at Playa Grande since 2003 and am very happy with it. The property is well maintained, beautiful, clean and comfortable. It is within walking distance to the marina and downtown Cabo San Lucas. The staff is friendly and helpful and many have been there for years.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days. It was close to town where we could walk and very close to the harbor. Nice place. If you can't walk far you can take a cab or walk to the end of the property to hire a bicyclist that will pull you around in a cart. Prices are negotiable.
