This was our first time at Hacienda Encantada, and I can genuinely say with confidence it won't be our last! My uncle and his family have been coming for many years, and finally convinced us to join them for a week (they stay for 3 weeks if that's any indication of how much they love it!). We stayed in the "Residences" side of the property, in a two-bedroom condo with a full kitchen, huge kitchen table and large sofa/seating area. Plus a large back area with lounge chairs, and gorgeous views of El Arco in the distance. The bedrooms were one king, and one with 2 queens - each with their own bathroom, plus an additional bathroom in the hall with a 3rd shower. All of our accommodations were spotless, and the room was taped shut to note that it had been fully sanitized before we checked in (and that no one had entered since it was cleaned). Carmen and Guadalupe kept our condo clean for the week, and Guadalupe left us the most delicious treats on our table, along with adorable towel animals and different designs on our bed every day. She was so lovely! With our property being on the "Residences" side, we also had access to a member of the concierge team for the week. GUILLERMO! Let me tell you, he was a godsend. We were on nickname basis by the end of the week. Upon arrival, we had his cell number and any questions or needs we had, he was more than happy to entertain. From on-property transportation to dinner reservations, help with COVID testing and more, Guillermo was so attentive and quick to respond (sidenote: the resort is totally walkable, but in heels and dressed up for dinner, it was nice to be able to catch a ride in the golf cart up to the top of the resort). We had a bit of a snafu with where to get COVID tested, and Guillermo quickly rectified the issue (not his fault might I add!), sent us a golf cart to quickly get us to where we needed to be, and was waiting for when we arrived to help escort us. He seriously was MVP of the week! All of the staff throughout the resort is attentive, nice and you can tell genuinely cares about the work that they do. I wish I could remember the names of all of the pool and bar staff who were flying around, climbing down the rocks to get to some of the pool cabanas, and never spilling a drink! Speaking of, there are multiple pools on the property, all with different vibes depending on what you're looking for (adults only, smaller/quieter, kid-friendly). Our favorite was the bistro pool, which had seating down toward the "beach" graded into the cliff. We loved sitting here because you can hear the ocean waves crashing and get great sun all day, with access to the pool just behind you. This was not my first time in Cabo, but it was definitely my favorite time. We will certainly come back, and Hacienda Encantada will be top of the list!

Our stay was everything we imagined and more. El patio was by far the best part of Hacienda. Request ENRIQUE as a waiter for the best service! He will make sure you have the best experience by the beach 🏖

I recommend this resort for the less adventurous; those who want sun and to be served. The staff is top-notch and personable. Watching boats and whales from the pool or sitting in the water at the bar to chat seemed to be the activity most there liked. The room was fantastic and view (well, mine anyway) spectacular. The room was well appointed with stove top, microwave, and a refrigerator as well as cutlery. The food I enjoyed at the restaurants was excellently prepared and delicious. The variety also a plus. (I cooked most of my own meals more on that later.) They do have an entertainment staff who did a wonderful job. Ariel and Regina are fun and enthusiastic. Even if you're the only one wanting to bike or exercise they will provide. Two thumbs up for them. Very enjoyable people. If you are more adventurous plan on long walks to the main road to catch the bus as no ride was available (approximately 1KM). The buses run every 10 min or so are inexpensive and a good way to begin your cultural experience. Cabs, or Shuttle service are up to 20x more expensive. Uber is there but not allowed on property (also meaning a long hot walk). Plan accordingly if you visit a grocery store (on site grocery is 3x elsewhere) as you'll be carrying it back to your room; ice cream won't make it. I did set through a presentation. It ran longer than advertised. However they were not pushy or pouty if you decided not to buy at that time. Even after it was clear I would not be buying we had good conversation. Kudos. Will I be back? Yes, and prepared.
