Cutting to the chase, I checked out 1/2 way through my trip... at a great expense to myself. I attempted to resolve my numerous issues many times, and there was excellent talk, but never any follow-up or follow-through. My nanny and kids arrived before me, via an Uber, and were not allowed past the security gate. She had to walk with a 6 and 3 year old, and luggage, to the check-in. It was busy, and took about 20 min to check in -- where they simply handed her the key with no guidance or offer of help. It's a BIG complex, and rooms can be hard to find. Dragging luggage and the kids, she could not find the room and had to have the restaurant help (who are not experts with room locations). The room was made-up, but not clean (grit and footprints on floor, bathroom, etc). I called front desk when I arrived and was told I needed to pay extra money to have the room cleaned. They said they stopped cleaning rooms once guests checked in, except for special requests, due to COVID - but those requests would cost extra money. I explained it wasn't properly cleaned when we checked in. Lots of apologies, we'll look into it, we'll make it right, and nothing... My room, 1646, is NOT a nice vacation room. The back side of the kitchen counter was the headboard for the bed! The Ocean view was "technically" there, but terrible, with 75% of the view staring straight at another building. I am a Marriott Titanium Elite, have many suite/room upgrade certificates in my account, so I didn't need a free hand-out with a better room... but gave up trying. I even called other Marriott properties in town to seek assistance, but that just turned into a big waste of time... With this experience, I wonder why I bother with Marriott hotel status?

This was our first time to Cabo, and as lifetime Titanium elite members we have been to many Marriott properties around the world. The Westin Los Cabos ranks near the top for us in terms of experience, value, and their incredible staff. Pros: - Lovely grounds. This is very hilly as the property is literally built into the side of a mountain. Stunning views all around. - The pools and service are incredible. You can spend the whole day there and simply float away. - Decent restaurants although their menus are a bit limited. Cons: - You can't swim at the beach. The seas are too rough. But that is the case for about 95% of Cabo's shoreline, very few places are calm enough to swim. The views make up for it however. - Given how hilly it is, likely not very accessible for those who are in a wheelchair or have special needs. Hills and stairs everywhere. - Never seen a sports bar have less TVs and brighter lighting than the one they have. We skipped it entirely and went elsewhere. Staff: - Osby @ the pool - he knew all our names by Day 2 and always waited on us with a smile and quick attention. A gem of a person, he works hard and did all he could to keep us happy and well nourished during our days lounging around. Thank you Osby! - Fernando (Ferny) at the bellstand - we rented a car (highly recommend doing this), and he greeted us with a smile most nights as we returned to the hotel. He'd make funny jokes, and our family grew to love his welcome back to the hotel. Like we were coming home. Thank you Ferny! - Daniel at concierge, simply the man. He reached out a week before arrival, with incredible attention to detail and service. Shared his cell and Whats App and was available anytime we needed him or had Qs. Booked a sunset cruise though him (loved it), ATV tour (incredible, and dusty - pack old clothes if you plan to do that), and a snorkel tour (recommend pass, was cloudy water and soggy sandwiches through Cabo Adventures). He took great care of us and always had great ideas and stories for what to do. Thank you Daniel!

We are owners at The Westin, but this was our first time staying at this location. GREAT= Check-in process, view, cleanliness/ COVID protocols, pool seating accessibility, and size of the villa. NOT THE BEST= Very small kitchenette, limited on-site dining options and menu choices (and somewhat pricey for what you get). Daniel at the concierage desk was a huge help to our family and was very informative. Field trips: Due to Covid, we didn't do as many excursions as we usually do. However, a few places that we did go worth noting included Flora Farms (40.00 by taxi). It was a fantasy experience with beautiful grounds, fantastic food and shops, and premium customer service for reasonable prices. Daniel also referred us to El Merkado which is maybe five minutes away. This was a cool venue because there were several restaurants and eateries to choose from in one location. Think American Food Court for comparison. We had the greatest tacos of our trip there on blue corn tortillas including shrimp, pollo adobada, and carne. The service was great and the employees were very kind. The taxi situation is kind of lame. You can be charged one amount to go somewhere and a more expensive amount coming back. The frequent visitors that we met encouraged us to use Uber next time, so we may. We also toured the new Baja Point (owned by Westin and next door). It was lovely, but I would still choose to stay here because of the views and the layout. The restaurant El Ciruelo at Baja Point was lovely. Beautiful Sunset views! All in all, I think that we preferred the ease of all inclusive places we've stayed in previously in Cabo, but we would definitely return here.,

I had so much fun just chilling at the Margarita swim up pool. Bring a small Bluetooth speaker if you like. Concierge and service was excellent. Leonel from the fun team was a blast and made sure we had a good time. If you want to relax but still have a solid internet connection this place is for you. Also, they are very sanitary and all toiletries are plastic bag sealed.

We came here for our anniversary week. I don’t know why we never came here before. Normally I want a room on a high floor. We were assigned a room on the first floor but the way the resort is situated we looked down on the pool and the ocean. The sound of the ocean waves was so soothing and beautiful to watch. The staff is wonderful. The activities staff Isaac and Mauricio led exercise classes and games daily. The Spa Otomi is great too. The view at the El Cirelo restaurant is amazing especially at sunset. We will definitely be back.
