This place is charming, romantic and clean ( at least when I was there ). If you are looking for "high end" will may not meet your standards but I don't think anyone can be disappointed. Overall, I think I would return.

Our family visits Cabo Azul at least annually, we enjoy the short trip from SAN and the relaxed environment the resort has to offer. Cons: - The renovation from Hurricane Odile is taking too long!! - The resort and pool area seems to shut down around 10:00PM besides Javiers. Don't expect a late night of drinking at the Bar or...

even after explaining we wanted to compare the facilities where we were staying the regimental attitude and lack of personal skills did not allow the security beach custodian any liberty to pass us off to management for any considerations, glad we stayed at the Barceló!

We stayed there March 2014, we loved it so much we can't wait for their recovery from Odile to rebook. Our room was exquisite, staff friendly and the spa was worth every penny. The 2 bedroom suite we were in was almost as big as the main section of our house.

The beach is fully in the sun and therefore very hot, plus the water features a strong undertow and is not really usable. There is horseback riding along the beach. Guests congregate by and enjoy several wonderful pools (some are heated) on site, some of which sort of self select by age -- older folks in one, young kids in another, teens in a third, etc. Golf is available very close by (5-10 minute walk). The on site restaurants and food are excellent and meals can be ordered and eaten at your lounge chairs around the pools. There are also some nice restaurants very close by off site. It's a 10-15 minute walk into town (San Jose del Cabo) where there are some great restaurants and shops. There is a Starbucks on site and a mini market where you can stock up on things to keep in your suite's refrigerator.

Hello ThatcherA, thank you for your inquiry. We do apologize for the delayed response. The responses thus far have been spot on. There is a kids pool with activities and slides for them as well as plenty of entertainment for kids. There is no adult's only pool, though the Serenity pool area is designed for just that, a serene pool experience. Thank you again for your inquiry.

Greetings Ventura_Keys_Gal, the previous responses are absolutely correct, we do not have an all inclusive option at this resort. Most accommodation units include a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker for your convenience. As well there is a poolside bar, a bar and lounge, and a restaurant on property. Thank you for your inquiry.
