Not a fancy hotel, but the staff were wonderful and helpful! Our room was on the second floor overlooking the pool, and with the windows open, we never needed the A/C (which I hate). Decent breakfast (included in the rate) - different each morning, and the coffee was great. This was near the University of CR, which is why we...

Over all is this a very nice small hotel. Staff is very friendly. Comfy beds. Lovely atmosphere with a swimming pool and cosy areas to sit both inside and outside. There is also a dinner restaurant that looked nice but it was closed during our visit. Breakfast was included, fairly good but basic. The hotel is situated in a calm...

We stayed at this hotel while driving from one side of Costa Rica to the other, we selected it out of TripAdvisor, thus we had a pretty good idea of what to expect. The young man and woman at the front desk were quite pleasant and friendly, the gentleman who greeted us at the front door guided us to the...

Rooms are clean and the pool is nice. The hotel is small, but offering what is needed for a short stay. Internet speed was good. With a bit of more effort, the breakfast could improve significantly, it was a disappointment. I didn't try the restaurant, people told me good things about it.

The hotel is situated on a quiet neighbourhood not far from the city centre. Despite this it is not totally quiet and calm at the hotel as a small train passes closeby. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and nice. The pool is however much smaller then it looks in the pictures on the internet. The room is...

We came to visit our daughter at her study abroad university and to explore Costa Rica. This hotel was one of several recommended by her foreign exchange program. The hotel started our visit with an e-mail before our arrival. I stated we would arrive on the red eye from Los Angeles and would like to come to the hotel and...

My wife and I stayed at this excellent hotel in San Jose, Costa Rica on two different occasions in July 2015. This small hotel is very nice in all respects. Very well maintained, great front desk service, excellent breakfast, nice pool, and rooms that were very comfortable and very adequate in size and furnishings. Although it not in the city...

This hotel is ok If you are not very demanding. Initially booked for 3 weeks but stayed for one. It is conveniently located to get around San Jose and UNiversity campus. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The first day I had to ask room service to change bedding and clean room thoroughly. The hotel needs serious overhaul and good...

For business or pleasure, this is a nice hotel to call home. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the hotel accommodates many from various points on the globe. It's always an interesting time when using this hotel as your base of operations. And, this hotel, being small and intimate, accomodates all your needs.
