The hotel is a Moorish colonial building with high walls and a courtyard. There are birds and fountains in the courtyard which is an oasis. The rooms face the street and are loud. Double windows would help. The rooms are beautiful and the service is nice.

This is a lovely, quaint boutique hotel which I visited on one of the weekends when Mexico's Día de Muertos is celebrated. The hotel has been recently renovated to the highest standards with lovely rooms facing the inner courtyard, an excellent included breakfast buffet, parking facility, welcome cocktail and free wi-fi. The service is outstanding with a very friendly staff...

This is one of the best and most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed in. We booked one of the least expensive rooms, and it was still beautifully decorated and was exactly what we needed. When you don't have to leave the hotel to get some of your best travel photos (in the courtyards), that's saying something. We had a delicious...

Day of checking I waited about 45 minutes to get a 1 hour photo session approved the day of the wedding. I had visited the hotel in April 16' and I was never told anything about...

Just returned from Morelia, Mexico. Beautiful city with amazing colonial architecture. Did a day trip to Santa Clara del Cobre and Patzcuaro. Santa Clara is home to the finest copper artisans in the world. Countless shops all over town are filled with the thousand of items made with copper. Patzcuaro is just down the road. It's main plaza is surrounded...

This was obviously a building of some importance that has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The room furnishings are all solid wood and pointed rough stone, high quality bathroom fittings and very comfortable beds. Double glazed windows ensue that once you are in your room it is tranquility itself. The common areas are very well maintained and...
