We just stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful time. The room had amazing views of the ocean and the room was spotless and very nice. Banana's restaurant has wonderful food. We love Barra and we will definitely return here again soon.... Highly recommend..

Nice hotel, very clean, reasonable price. They have remodeled the two or three rooms closest to the reception...ask for one of those. The ground floor rooms have the best ocean views, as you can sit out on the lawn. Great free breakfast. Nearby Isadora's Restaurant has good seafood, Lucy's Bar has live entertainment.

The staff was very accomodating. The courtyard and lobby are mindblowingly tranquil. My ocean view room, on the ground floor, was awesome. The Bed was (kind of ) soft. But sleepable. GREAT AIR CONDITIONING!! Nice shower. Big screen vizio TV. Free breakfast at Banannas. The beach is STEPS away, The pool was Bathtub warm. Everything is steps away. PLUS A... More

My friends and I went there for Spring break. It's an excellent place to stay. Safe, clean, near all the town shops and cafes, beach front. The ocean right in front of it is awesome. The pool is really nice and the view is amazing. Plus they just remodeled it and it looks great!

When we first walked into our ocean view room on the second floor we thought it a bit drab, but then opened the drapes to a stunning view of the beach and ocean. The room was a nice size, and we did spend a lot of time on the balcony in the mornings and at the end of the day... More

Right on the beach, nice mix of regulars, families, and couples. Large price differential for ocean view rooms, which are totally worth it. The rooms are clean, a little shabby, but you're on the beach all day. The restaurant, Bananas, is very popular for breakfast; I suggest combo #2. The pool itself is clean but the poolside area needed to... More

My husband and I stayed four nights here in early December 2008. We were very happy with the location and the room was roomy enough for just the two of us. We were in a room overlooking the beach and it was just beautiful. However, at night the waves do CRASH and it is a consideration if that bothers one.... More

At check-in you were given a blue plastic bracelet that you were suppose to wear so you could get back in to the hotel and use the pool I didn't wear it and had no trouble coming or going without it. my room on the second floor was average , clean and...
