We were looking for a stay close to the Mafra palace and this lovely gem tucked away in Venda do Pinheiro, fit the bill. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was immaculate and the hotel is in a quiet area so we slept soundly. A hot breakfast is provided and the eggs are fresh from their chickens—yes, there are animals and a vegetable garden at the back of the property. It’s easy to recognize your room door as there is a painting of a bird on the door which matches the bird on your key. Free parking was a bonus. Superb accommodation and highly recommend!

Small and cozy place with full of wonderful details. Very clean place and friendly staff. I guess it is brand new. Excellent service. It's winter, so i didn't test the pool. Parking was free. Not too far from the palace of Mafra. Highly recommend!

We have just spent a few days in NINHO SALOIO, a very charming hotel, and we simply loved it. The place is tastefully decorated, our room was extremelly comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the staff couldn't be friendlier. The location is ideal as it is nearby Lisbon and close enough to Ericeira beautiful beaches. We highly recommend NINHO SALOIO.
