The food is absolutely lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was brilliant. We stayed one night whilst visiting Windsor Castle and then moved on to Stonehenge. This Inn is well known in the area and beyond for its food and standards. Absolutely brilliant stay, thank you to everyone. Tall people need to learn to duck under...

Arrived on a wild stormy night, late for dinner and our booking and opened the door of a very attractive old inn to a warm and welcoming buzz of noise - the place was full. The staff had no problems with our late arrival and suggested checking in after dinner - proactive, we liked it. There were plenty of staff...

Second stay and not disappointed. Room 8 was difficult with just a bath but the twin downstairs was really comfy. Could just do with a slightlt wider single if possible or option to join them. Food is fantastic and breakfast beautifully served and very tasty. Sometimes deliveries in the morning can delay check out and blick cars at the back...

Good size rooms and exceptionally well maintained. Comfy beds which was good as we stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was excellent and ate one night in the restaurant which was worth the price. Overall an excellent find

The bedrooms were very clean with a very comfortable bed. We spent the evening in the bar and restaurant. Fantastic local ales, and a large variety of wines to choose from. The food was outstanding. I will be returning. The staff were very attentive throughout our stay. Thank you very much!

Booked for one night as we were up in Windsor visiting friends. Truly dog friendly, no surcharge, outstanding service, great food, delightful staff and atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend it. They even brought the dog a little extra at breakfast!

Lovely room and welcoming staff. The breakfast which is included in the price is amazing and there are great touches to the stay (coffee machine outside room and a choice of flavoured tea in the rooms). We would without a doubt stay here again in the future when visiting Windsor! Highly recommend to all who need somewhere to stay when...

We loved this place! The room was exactly as advertised, and the adjoining pub was utterly charming with fantastic, attentive staff. Rooms were set back from the pub so there was no noise whatsoever. Breakfast was a delight - just the right amount and perfectly executed. Would strongly recommend this place to others.
