This was our first all inclusive and first club med experience and we were a bit hesitant about the concept, having always traveled alone and in a more spontaneous fashion. But this time there were eight of us including a four year old and a...More
Club Med Ixtapa is a wonderful hotel and property for a family vacation. Food, service, accomodations are all excellent and the staff is amazing. Wonderful daily activities for the kids so Mom and Dad can have time to relax on the beach.

The staff met us and did a great job at making sure we got exactly the rooms we asked for - shout out...More

Agree with all above responses. Be sure to get your wrist band attached to your account! We werent aware and only discovered when we couldn't book a spa treatment that this was a requirement. Also the connection to Amex was down for a few days. You will have an amazing time! Also note if you want better wine you can negotiate price. No dress code. Do be careful of leaving anything unattended on beach chairs early morning. Our friends bag was taken - which apparently was an isolated incident. Club Med does have security but not early AM. Technically all beaches in Mexico are public beaches.
