Rooms are 2 star. Old and tired. Typical hard bed in Mexico. Bathrooms need renovation. Old and dirty. Nice views from ocean view tower. Food was good. Some stuff was closed because there weren't many hotel guests at the time. No long lines. Service was good. All of the hotel workers are friendly. Not the best place to stay if...

Terrible! We booked a ocean view room and our price total was $450 night for three (inclusive.) The room had a tiny window with no balcony. The first thing the staff does is ask for your credit card and charges the entire stay right up front. They do not even ask. Fortunately, we booked our reservations direct and we did...

Our ball team arrived Feb 25/07. We had the time of our lives. This has been our 4th trip out of the country and this one was the best. No complaints about the service, food, drinks or anything. I cannot believe anyone would have a problem with the resort. Sure some nights may have been noisy but people are just...

Great Time, We will definitely be returning to this resort. The service was top notch, food was easily the best i had eaten in an all-inclusive resort. The last couple days were very busy, as a result the service wasnt as great as it was, but thats to be expected. The disco is load until around midnight. The rooms were...

As many noticed - Great/Outstanding Service - Very Friendly staff in abundance. And they do know how to create festive atmosphere in the evening. Ala Carte restaurants decor at night dramatically differs from daytime. Resort located in the bay with sandy beach and mountains are opening and closing bay views. Wave (yes, generally only one wave went thru) was a...

Our Family stayed for 2 weeks from March 4th till the 18th...the staff was friendly and the food was good...as mentioned in earlier comments they seemed to have no rules regarding noise levels at night...the 1st week we had Mexican families that would sit on their patios talking and laughing till 2:00 - 3:00 a.m. every night and the 2nd...

This was our second time in Ixtapa. We stayed at the Melia Azul last year and chose the Presidente this year. First impressions of the rooms were poor, this is one of the oldest hotels on the strip and shows its age. however it was very clean. My largest complaint about the rooms was the shower, the temperature was inconsistent...

I booked the Presidente because it stated that "spring breakers were not allowed". They must have meant American spring breakers. We arrived on Friday, March 9 and had an enjoyable Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, March 11, a number of buses arrived and and all of sudden the swim-up bar was over run with Mexican "kids". Most did not seem...

We stayed in Ixtapa MX for the first time and loved it. The hotel was very clean, friendly, lots of activities planned for guests. The water was suprisingly warm but the undertow is strong and churns up the sand quite a bit. But the waves are fun, bring a boogie board. The room was well used but very clean and...

We were with a group of seven and stayed one week, January 19-26, 2007. This is an older hotel which is kept very clean, with very friendly staff, always ready to serve your needs. Our stay seemed extremely special from the moment we arrived until we departed. Our rooms were ready on arrival and the concierge "Jorge" was the best...
