This was a great experience since I arrived to this hotel the employees were very attentive and friendly. The food was good but they need more servers since it took them a while to get our drinks and desserts they always took a long take. The room was always clean and very comfortable theu only issue I had with the room was that it smell like sewer water in the bathroom. In overall the services was great I would definitely come back and stay here.

Emporio hotel is one of the best hotels in Veracruz, Mexico but I am sad to say that Emporio hotel in Ixtapa is the worst. The hotel is a little dated but I was hoping they could make up for it in customer service, I was wrong by a long shot. If for some reason you need speak with a manager, good luck. They are either not in the office or busy with other clients. The mask policy is shotty at best, the staff doesn’t enforce the rules for all the hotel guest. I got the feeling that if your a English speaking traveler then your treated like a 2nd class citizen no matter how much your spending to stay here. In my opinion, you will get better service from any other hotel in Ixtapa for the same price but because of my long history with Emporio in Veracruz I felt I would get the same level of service. If you choice to still take a gamble and stay just remember this review when you have a issue and reach out to management to help resolve your issue. Besides feeling 2nd class and voiceless, great area to stay in. Covid really took its toll on Emporio and it’s seen in the service they give to guest.

Dear Neophi, While extending you a warm regard, I would like to deeply thank you for sharing your personal views and comments regarding your recent stay with us. We are deeply surprise to read of the poor impression you left our hotel with, as a result of “the lack of opportunities” to have a word with the management team you highlight in your posting attached, We apologice and regret not being able to be available to meet you during our multiple tours that we do during the day everyday within the hotel (the entire management team and myself), I personally verified with Front Desk and Express Line and couldn´t find any report of your request to have a meeting with the management (rest assured we will do our best to improve the lines of comunication). It is important to clarify that we under no circumstances discriminate, regardless of the language they speak, their origin, age, religion or preferences, for us all our guests are our priority. Regarding your comment abour our protocols against Covid19, We regret your personal perception about this and we apologice for that, we will investigate your review because our protocols are generally applauded by the vast majority of our guests, who choose to stay with us to feel safe for themselves, their Friends and family. At all times, the health of out guests and team members is our priority. In addition to tapping into the expertise of our consultants, we also ensure that the higiene practices at all of our facilities meet, or exceed, the recommendations of local and international health authorities, this is the main reason why at the moment don´t have a single contagion case at our premises. We had succeded this through the following actions: 1. Cleaning and disinfecting luggage of incoming guests. 2. Temperature checks for arriving guest. 3. Sanitizing mats for shoes. 4. All team members are equipped with mask and face shields. 5. Acrylic shields are placed at the front desks and buffet área. 6. Hand sanitizing stations placed in strategic locations such as the front desk, restaurant entrances, and all other public áreas. 7. Hourly cleaning and disinfection protocols for high-touch areas and points using certified sanitization products. 8. All bed linens including duvet covers, pillowcases, and sheets in all rooms are sanitized and changed before the entry of a new guest. 9. Fogging disinfection upon departure of each guest. 10. Rooms are sealed to indicate guests that their room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned with specialized products on all high-touch areas and points 11. Furniture in public areas are rearranged according to social distancing guidelines. 12. Application and signaling of safe distance in all areas of the hotel. 13. Use of QR code menus and disposable menus for our clients. 14. Constant hand washing every 20 minutes by our team members. 15. Sanitization of equipment in Fitness Centers and Spa after each use. 16. Entry control with hygiene and prevention measures (handwashing, temperature check, use of antibacterial gel, etc.) of all our team members. 17. Scheduled disinfection of offices and workstations with increased frequency. 18. Random covid tests to members of our team every month. Once again we are sorry for the inconveniences you had to face during your holiday and please be asure that we will consider the issues your are mentionning to work on them and take measures inmediately to improve our hotel services.
