There are a number of TVs in the sports bar and I'm sure if you ask the bar tender to put it on if they receive the channel it's on they would be happy to let you watch it. When ever we were in there it wasn't very busy.

It was about $40 US per person per day.. I wouldnt recommend because you can actually eat at all the upgraded restaurants for a small fee. Im sure the pillows are better though. Mot worth it to me.

I am going first time Mexico with my wife, I am bit of hesitant after looking at quite a lot bad reviews, as I booked the air transat package without any research. So now after booking I am researching about the place, I am doing other way around. Fact is, I am not fond of expending more on room looks, I hope standard room is just good enough for comfortable sleeping and basic necessities. So I have few questions to ask: 1) how is trip to Marina and how much does it cost to swim with dolphin? 2) About outdoor excursions, any guidance, how was it, where to book and how much is it? 3) Have anyone visited any nearby Cenotes? How do we go there (Walk, Cab, Uber or bus) (e.g nearby Cenote Chac-Mool, Cenote Chakalal, Cenote, Jardín Del Eden, Kantun Chi, Cenote Cristalino, Cenote Azul or Little far cenotes (15-30kms) like Río Secreto, Cenote y Laguna Yal-ku, Aktun Chen Natural Park & Dos Ojos Cenote) 4) Since I have booked standard room, any good location of room preferable? Also inside standard room what do we have, do we have fridge and water bottles? And how safer is the Safe (as I read in few reviews that things get stolen)? 5) Tips - Although in my trip statement from my travel agent, it is mentioned that taxes & tips included, but I believe (as per reviews) you must pay tips there for better service, is it true? And how much tip is the expectation per time? 6) Beach - as a standard packager, how much access of beach is restricted for me, is Lagoon included? 7) Since its an all-inclusive resort, I hope everything is included, is there any food/ drinks or any OTHER activity (beside SPAS) you must purchase within resort? 8) As a standard packager we have 4 la carte for week, where we can eat for other 2-3 days? I am not understanding this part. Does that mean that its only all-inclusive food 4 days? 9)To go out of gated community, can you rent a car (how much if you know), cabs, UBERS or buses? 10) Last but most important question, currency exchange. Is Cancun airport good enough for converting CAD $ to Mex Peso, or gated community or Catalonia resort itself. Which is the best place to get better rates for exchanges. If in gated community, please let me know where. I hope your answers will help a lot of us, first timers. Thanks
