The sun peeped through to bless the gorgeous couple as we all departed from the cute Chapel, our ceremony was nothing short of spectacular, the bride a true creative in arranging amazing attention to detail. The venue is exactly as I expected, remote, uncluttered with brilliant approach to understated service. We were supposed to be staying at a hotel, but...

We were here for a friend's wedding and stayed in a yurt. The yurt was nice (though I do question the cleanliness of the rug), but it's not quite as pictured in the photos on their website. The photos showed lots of lamps and candles, making the room look really cosy, however after searching high and low we only found...

We attended a wedding at Mount Druid in April. Everything was fabulous. It's a real quirky place and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They were very attentive to all the guests needs. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed a wonderful day. The staff stayed up until very late making sure everyone got back to their accommodation safely -...

This venue looks great in pictures, however, the reality of staying as a guest is a different perspective. Staff (with exception of David) are not friendly or helpful. The accommodation, breakfast & bar are all over-priced. I booked into this venue with the spirit of adventure it encourages - and this is not my first adventure - however, the price...

We were at a friend's wedding. They had already paid a sizeable sum for their day but we were greeted when we arrived with the rudest people we had ever met. The food at the wedding itself was cheap inferior rubbish and the service was shockingly bad, I felt embarrassed to ask the servers for anything, because the response you...

Mount Druid is a natural haven in the heartland of Ireland. I was lucky enough to marry the beautiful Thalia there on the 24th of September and our wedding day meet and indeed exceeded our expectations. It was important to both of us that our wedding setting was natural, beautiful, and could facilitate our shared humanist worldview. We had viewed...

I've always wanted to camp in a yurt such an amazing experience, comfy chairs and beds lovely little stove glowing keeping yurt warm, the boat house and lake are amazing too, common cooking areas are spotless and only a short walk to village

My husband and I got married at the end of May this year; Mount Druid was our beautiful venue. We first stayed there a few years back, just for the fun of spending a couple of days in a yurt! We loved the chilled vibe, the off-beat offering, the beautiful setting, and the relaxed approach from all of the staff....

We got married at this venue recently. It was incredible, from the moment we booked it up until the minute we left we have nothing but high praise for Mount Druid and all its staff. We had close to 140 guests who loved every bit of the venue, from the tin chapel to boat house and the barn. Everyone raved...
