Very cosy clean house. Looked after really well. Very handy location for visiting pub for evening meals and lovely quiet walk to the beach. Very relaxing place to stay with perfect breakfast. We'll definitely be back!

6 of us stayed in this B&B Cumbrianin July. What a charming house! Very clean and comfortable furnished. We immediately felt like at home. Bedrooms with bathrooms(clean and comfy) are upstairs, dining room and lounge downstairs. Rooms are very spacious, with beautiful rural views. Breakfast was just overwhelming: so much variety: from musli to full English (Cumbrian) breakfast . The...

Just returned from my third stay in this lovely house. Have been coming to Silecroft for 21 year now and it's as pleasant as ever. This house is particularly lovely to stay in. Has lovely features, lovely rooms with ridiculously comfy beds, great breakfast and is ideally positioned for either a laid back relaxing retreat or a conquest of the...

She took us to our room, showing us an extra bathroom which had a free standing bath in it, which looked very inviting I must say. On entering our room the proprietor showed us all we needed to know and also our en-suite bathroom which...

We had a lovely stay here at this B&B - it was warm, comfortable and clean, and Sal made us feel very welcome, especially with the little touches such as fresh milk for hot drinks in the room. It was also evident that we were supporting a Fairtrade and environment friendly business which was even better. Great for access to...

We stayed here once before as a group of riding friends and came back to ride so no hesitation in booking this lovely B&B again, a perfect location for the nearby riding at Murthwaite. It's in a beautiful Victorian villa with high ceilings and lovely features. Sal the owner is very helpful, bringing fresh milk up so we could make...

I stayed for 1 night during the Blackcombe walking festival and wished I could have stayed longer. The B&B is located a couple of minutes walk from the rail station in the lovely village of Silecroft. Sal, the owner, is a very welcoming hostess and goes out of her way to ensure the guests have an enjoyable stay. The B&B...
