Dear vacation friends Just over a week ago, my husband and I were having one of our first holidays in years and so looking forward to it . We were booked at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta from December 20 - 27. We arrived a couple of days early, staying at the Marriott near the airport. Knowing RCI's track...

This was my first time at the Mayan Palace. My mom is the one that owns the timeshare and we went together. We thought it was great. Now, let's get to the real review. People, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. If you do that, you would know that construction is going on. Way to many complaints. Remember to look at the big picture,...

Recently just returned from a short stay at the Mayan Palace in N. Vallarta. Overall opinion is that the rooms were nice and comfortable. Staff at the Mayan was very pleasant and did the best they could with what they had to work with at the time. Huge negative for me was the major ground construction going one between the...

My husband and I booked our hoilday thru HSI not knowing that we would not receive Mayan ownership benifets. We are Mayan Grand Bliss owners. We first purchased in November 2006 thinking we had access to the lazy river. A very slick talking salesman in Mazatland, didn't lie to us but didn't tell the whole story. We booked a holiday...

My husband and I were approached downtown Puerto Vallata in September 2009 to visit Mayan Palace and listen to their timeshare pitch. Since we had already bought a vacation plan package a few days before, the individual said, "Well just come and see the place and you could use your vacation exchange to stay at Mayan Palace." We were promised...

We went to the Mayan Palace last year with our 6 year old, 5 year old and 3 year old and we all had such a magical time. The pools were the highlight of the whole experience. My children enjoyed floating along the lazy river amongst exotic plants the best. The pyramid slide was probably a close second. We all...

The property was immaculate, rooms very spacious and extremely clean. Were awestruck with the private pool on our balcony! This was an unexpectedly nice place for us to relax and enjoy the view of the bay both day and night! DID NOT appreciate the time share reps pushiness, harrassing phone calls to our room and perserverence. We were unaware that...

Just returned from a week at the Grand Mayan in Nuevo Vallarta. We had originally booked Mayan Palace that we were members of, but upgraded to Grand Mayan. Loved it so much that we upgraded our membership to Grand Mayan instead and will be going back in December. We had a 2 bedroom suite that was just beautiful; pools were...
